If you are looking for the most modern trendy hotel, this isn't it. If you want a comfortable classic motel with unique kitschy decor and breakfast included for the whole family, then you've come to the right place. There are two buildings with an interesting and unique lobby design in each. The breakfast was excellent and the staff are all super friendly. They let me charge our electric car at one of the outdoor outlets which was quite helpful for our long trip the next day.

Great place great location!.. we were in the new area .. not sure if it would’ve been a better stay in the main building.. I see the regular prices. I’m not sure it’ll be worth the regular price, but it is great for a sale price. Thank you.

Just okay

Location was good for walking to the shops. Room was clean but beds and pillows were not good. Decent free breakfast of pastries, muffins and drinks, bonus for having Udi’s gluten free muffins. Staff was not the friendliest. Wouldn’t stay again.

Loved this place! Clean rooms, lovely staff, lots of snacks and very accommodating. Close to everything and great sleep. Only draw back was our sliding bathroom door. Got locked in a few times unable to open from the inside. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much to the amazing staff!!

Location is perfect. Walking distance to hanaford and main street.Breakfast (bread, cookies, coffee, yogert,...) is provided and that is good enough to start the day. Room was renovated. 3 days of stay with 2 kids was pleasent. I strongly recommend.

Loved the location of this property, could easily walk to downtown Bar Harbor and avoid paying for parking. Easy access to Acadia and quick entrance to Cadillac Mt Jordan Pond areas easily avoiding traffic. Complimentary water and Kind bars always available. Grab and go breakfast with hot tea and coffee. New owners making upgrades, we wanted a clean location to spend our days hiking and this worked perfectly. Beds were comfortable, room temp good. Most motels in area are older and this one is also but well kept and clean. I would not keep any valuables in car overnight. Not certain but car alarm went off during the night and the next morning there were hand prints on the windows as if someone had been looking in all the windows of the car. That would not be a reflection of the hotel but the area itself since it is a tourist area but safe overall.

Room was not clean, shower/tub would not drain and it was not clean, towel bar was loose and fell apart. Water smelled terrible! We've never had hotel water smell before. It was so bad we left after 1 night. Manager did not want to reimburse for the other 2 nights, so we spent over $800 for the disgusting and unlivable room for 1 night. Expedia should NOT offer this place to anyone

The staff was honestly amazing. I don’t often actually talk to hotel staff often beyond normal checking in/out but had a few interactions with them here and they were actually some of the kindest human strangers I’ve met. I had some issues with my flight/rental car and arrived very late to the property. The night manager (I wish I could remember his name) was so accommodating and apologetic for my travel issues. He carried my bag to my room and recommended a hike I should go on. I went on it and it was spectacular. All in all an amazing experience especially after a not so great travel day. 10/10 will be staying here next time I’m in the area.
