I will not stay again. The toilet was hard to flush, no response after requesting another room. Heater did not produce much warmth, Blanket very thin. I wore a jacket to bed. We knew no refridge, but ice maker at office was always empty. No windows to open to let shower mist out, so everything was moist. Way too expensive! The house keeper was nice.

It turns out they are right next to the Bar Harbor Lobster Pound (which is one of the main reasons we come to Maine). Nice folks in the office and the room was ok, bed was comfortable.

Terrible. Place does not deserve to be open. No running hot water for shower, no temperature control (heater that does not regulate heat), and mold inside the bathroom of rooting wood!

Is a bit old. It was clean. It was convient to Bar Harbor. 1/2 of the electrical outlet didn't work. The heat was a portable electric heater. Because of the high cost of the local area, this was a money saver.

The room was shabby and run down. The entrance door was broken and rotten. The lighting was poor and in bad condition. The decor was dated and in need of a full refurbishment. The shower head was missing. Only stay here if you have no choice, we arrived late to the area and took this as a last minute offer.

We booked knowing the property was outdated I was hoping that it would be clean at the minimum. I was shocked to see how clean it was! We stayed in the classic room and it was exactly like the picture. The bed was hard and the bathroom was small. It’s definitely a flash back to the 80s/90s. Paneling on the walls, pink shower and sink, stripe carpet, and that musty smell from the paneling. The room was CLEAN though! If you are looking for a good bargain (without the bugs) and can tolerate the bare minimum, you will be just fine!! The staff are friendly and accommodating as well!
