We loved it! It was in a great location (right next to town and only 10 minutes from Acadia), pet friendly, and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly and we enjoyed breakfast at the Looking Glass restaurant.

Traveling with family, we enjoyed the large room and excellent views of the harbor. Wonder View is pet-friendly, however, and we had the bad luck of having a very barky dog above us. The property is a little worn down and aged, but clean and comfortable. The free bus that runs all over the area picks up right in the parking lot, very convenient, as parking in Bar Harbor is crazy. Also, a short, easy walk to town if you prefer.

Wonderview was wonderful. The staff was super nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Since it was so hot outside, the AC worked great. I will definitely stay at Wonderview the next time I am in Bar Harbor.

We stayed in one of the rooms with the double king bed. This room was huge! We had a balcony that overlooked the water and you could see the bar island “walkway “when the tide was down. We tried to get tickets to see the sunrise at Cadillac Mountain, and on our last morning there I happen to wake up early and went outside and had an absolutely beautiful sunrise right from our hotel! So you do not need to go to Cadillac Mountain, if you stay here at the Wonder View Inn. We had breakfast one morning. It was very good. The staff was friendly. The bathrooms could use a little updating, but other than that I would highly recommend this for your stay! It can be walkable down to the little town of Bar Harbor. But you just have to walk uphill to come home!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided a welcome gift for our dog:). Breakfast was great and the views were beautiful. They have a very cute gift shop as well. Great stay!

Had an amazing experience in this place. Stayed with my family and a Dog for 6 night I had booked a two king bed room and stayed in Room #66 ( ocean view building) it was a corner unit with amazing views of Bar Harbor. Place is very neat and staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this place if yiy are visiting Acadia National Park.

While not the newest room, it was incredibly clean. The staff were polite and efficient. Even when we spilled an entire water bottle on the bed, they quickly came and switched all the bedding for us. The only issue we had was that both my husband and I banged our shins on the foot board of the bed as the corner sticks out about 2 inches from the rest of the bed. This could be an us issue, but be careful on those late night bathroom trips.
