I stayed here for 5 nights and, unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The rooms are outdated and have a strong musty smell from humidity. The dehumidifier leaked a significant amount of water onto the floor, making it slippery. My daughter fell because of this, which was very concerning. The rollaway bed smelled terrible and was uncomfortable to use. Housekeeping was one of the biggest disappointments. During our entire stay, they mostly just emptied the trash. The room was not properly cleaned, and basic housekeeping was lacking. The beach is beautiful, but the current is very strong and I did not feel it was safe for young children. The resort also lacked atmosphere. There was no music or entertainment, making it feel very quiet and lifeless. The food at the restaurant was poor considering the high prices. The meals were expensive, and the waitresses were not very friendly or welcoming. Overall, I expected much more for the price. I would not choose to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Atlantis Beach House. Susan was wonderful to communicate with and shared great recommendations for places to eat. She was also happy to provide extra towels and toiletries whenever we asked. The location was convenient, and the house had everything we needed to prepare meals during our stay. The kids especially enjoyed the pool, and we loved walking down to the beach to watch the sunset in the evenings. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

I travel almost every 3 weeks and I can hands down say that this was one of my best experiences to date at a boutique hotel. From arriving till leaving I felt at home and the staff took care of anything and everything. When I say that, I mean it. This morning (I've just left) the hotel manager, Miguel, heard I couldn't make it to breakfast due to meetings before checking out, so he made me a to go breakfast, based on what I had for the last 3 days, and had it delivered to my room so I wouldn't go hungry. From sitting by the pool talking to other guest and laughing with staff through the all the little annoyances, the team was on top of it regardless of the hour or the issue. Genuinely very impressed and if we come back to Curacao we know where we will be staying, that's for certain. Thanks Darrel, Tiji, Miguel and everyone else who made this a fantastic experience for us both.

Overall, we had a decent stay at Coral Estates, but it wasn't quite the luxury experience we expected based on the photos and reviews. The property is well-maintained. We stayed in an Ocean View room, which was comfortable for two people. The restaurants were just okay—and we found them to be overpriced for the quality. Our favorite foodie spot on the property was "Bread & More" near the front desk, which had the best food and the friendliest staff. Smoking is common throughout the resort, which may be a downside if you're sensitive to cigarette smoke. The front desk staff was pleasant but not very knowledgeable about activities and excursions. Be prepared for hidden expenses. Not disclosed before booking is that all seating at both the beach and pool requires the purchase of food or drinks—even for paying resort guests. These areas are also open to the public, so on weekends it can be difficult to find available chairs unless you arrive before 9am. The airport shuttle is very expensive and the only option for getting to/from the resort. Based on our overall experience, we would choose a privately owned vacation rental within the Coral Estates community rather than staying at the resort property.

The staff was so nice would definitely stay again

The property is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking ocean views and an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway away from the crowds, this is an excellent choice. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The main reason I did not give it 5 stars is that communication can be challenging after 7:00 PM. There should be a way for guests to easily reach staff in the evening if questions or issues arise. I also think the resort could benefit from better signage. If you arrive after dark, navigating the property can be confusing, and you’re largely on your own to find your way around. Overall, Coral Estate offers a stunning setting, a relaxing environment, and wonderful views that made our stay very enjoyable. With improved signage and better after-hours guest support, it would easily be a 5-star experience.
