The staff was friendly & provided dining suggestions. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable that it felt like sleeping on the floor. Wound up trying my best to sleep on top of pillows which only helped a little. We stayed at 2 other properties in KY during this trip and the La Quinta in Bardstown was by far the worst experience. Breakfast options were lacking...no fruit or yogurt during our 3 nights there. When asked, we were told they were expecting those items to be delivered by truck but they never arrived while we were there.

When we arrived and saw the room, we wanted to change to a king room. We said we would switch sometime during the 3 night stay if possibl. Person left message for manager but they never got back to us. Breakfast had no fruit. We were told fruit comes Monday. There was one orange on Saturday which I had but nothing else. No yogurt on Monday either. Asked for our room to be cleaned during our stay and was told it was a Wyndham policy they don’t clean rooms unless you have been there 3 days. We asked several times and got several different answers. I’m quite sure Wyndham would want you to cater to your guests wishes. The staff here is fine. All very courteous and friendly. We stayed and additional 2 nights in Bardstown but at another hotel.

The air conditioning in the room I stayed in was broken and woke me up at 4am, but the next day the staff kindly changed my room and provided me with a larger room than the original one. I would use this hotel again.

The only thing that was somewhat annoying was that when the wind blew, it would cause a whistling noise in the room coming from the AC unit. Other than that we were very happy with our stay.

Great stay!
We always stay here to visit family and this hotel is consistent with service and friendliness. Although our do not disturb sign was not on the door, we never received room service so not sure if you now need to request it each day but the there were plenty of bath towels and wash cloths provided during our stay so it was okay. Just thought it was odd unless it’s a new policy.
