1.Shower plug hole blocked could've flood room 2.Bed leg broken 3. Kettle arrival to find lid jammed and dirty water in it 4. Staff congragate in a small group yaka yaka chat crap with each other at breakfast when needing help at the table . 5.Room 10 ugly highland cow picture on the wall with it's knickers down sat on a toilet . very upsetting where picture looks when in bed . 6. Room freezing although heater on wall not near bed this will NOT heat this room. 7 asking for part refund due to poor service and lack facilities. can't see I will get this sorted. Won't be staying here again .

Me and my son she's 6 stayed again for the forth visit and this was the best we was given room 20 in the antics at the back and omg the bed was absolutely amazing my son's word's to the reception lady it was the best night sleep ever and I couldn't agree more the whole room was a different level and we on paid 66.00 for the room and that was breakfast too. Well definitely be back soon thanks Chris and Curtis x

Could have been better.
It said the rooms had all been updated but the bathroom was dirty, very cold room, not enough hangers in wardrobe only got 2 for 2 people. We eventually found thermostat behind wardrobe for the heating. Some of the breakfast was cold even though they were in heated ovens !

Exceptional service and staff, rooms modernised recently, quirky decor and lovely bar/restaurant for dinner (with someone playing the piano…amazing), then lovely breakfast in the morning included in the room! couldn’t fault for the great price! Be back again! Thanks to the staff they make it 👍

We stayed 2 nights rooms are basic but clean lovely view from our window, the pub and restaurant is gorgeous inside food was excellent had the lamb hotpot my partner had the roast beef and there was plenty of it, good atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was self serve and eggs were perfect, 20 mins into Skipton and lots of other places to visit, garden area are well maintained plenty of seating and from the bar area there is a balcony with seating as well, would highly reccomend

A one night stop for nearby family reunion
We had a good price for a double room with B and B. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We had dinner the evening we arrived. Lovely dining room with lounge areas. there was even a guy playing the piano! Food was very good and reasonable prices. The old stone trough is also a motorhome stopover £15 a night for 2 with breakfast (bargain!) so we will be back as we have a campervan. The only reason its 4 and not 5 stars was the room. The bed was fine comfy and clean. Room clean and well equipped. Issue with curtain, being on the ground floor had to have light on with heavy curtain closed. The shower room dated, and worn out. Water was hot and the loo just about worked.
