The majority of the staff were very friendly. I was disappointed with the room and especially the bathroom, it was poor for what was classed as a deluxe room. The breakfast was very limited for a vegetarian, no fruit, yoghurt or pastries.

We stayed in room 23. To be fair it needs updating. New lino in bathroom as they put a new bath cover on and lino was 2" short. The carpet was abit rough in places. The bar and the staff were brilliant. Breakfast was ok. Stayed there before and had more selection. Overall stay was good though

The room was dated, bed was very uncomfortable, we both had a restless night, mattress was very very soft which meant any movement was felt by the other person. The bathroom was in need of refurbishing, the bath looked like someone had been stubbing cigarettes out in it, you could see the yellow holes on the bottom, wallpaper hanging off the walls, it’s a shame really, the outside of the building looks great but the annexes inside are in dire need of upgrading, food on the restaurant was amazing, so was breakfast, I would definitely eat there habit would not sleep there

we finally got a room with patio doors looking onto the countryside. even though it was not the room we had seen on the website. unfortunately a customer parked his large work van across the doors and could not be found to move it. spoiled the whole feeling of the room. our room the super deluxe double? could do with a bit of a update.

Room was nearly as tired as I am

The room was quite big but very tired! There was a musty smell in the room as if the carpet had been cleaned but not extracted properly leaving a damp smell. The bathroom needs to be fully refurbished and although clean still looked really grubby I was woken at 4am by one of the other guests banging on the door across from me trying to wake his companion. When I went to check out I wasnt asked how my stay was. Also breakfast wasnt served until 7.30am which I think is a little late for those of us who are travelling for business

Not worth the money

Very over priced for what it is. Room wasn’t very clean, there was a stain on one of the towels and hairs in the shower. I wouldn’t be surprised if it hadn’t actually been cleaned.

Fabulous hotel. My husband and I came for one night, as we were going to the four elephants Indian restaurant nearby and I didn't want to drive back home. Value for money for bed and breakfast and the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was lovely however, the TV didn't work and the radiator wasn't getting hot, we were upgraded to a luxury suite and I thought I was a film star for the night lol. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back again. Thankyou for a amazing stay 👍😊
