We had a great stay the staff went above and beyond to help and so friendly, a special mention to the lady on reception when we arrived on Fri 8th Aug she had dark hair in a pony tail such a breath of fresh air and just so lovely and helpful ❤️

Not impressed with a member of bar staff, wanted to talk to a lad rather then, fetch what we’d asked for. Had to go back and ask her to stop talking as our food was out and husband wanted sauce. Hubby asked her for sauce when we put order in, food took around 1:2 hour yet I had to go and ask twice !!!! When we booked in wasn’t asked if interested in breakfast for £10, so when we went down in morning was told would have to pay £11.50 each as wasn’t paid day before, manger did resolve this but not happy not hi lighted

Easy to find Safe parking Clean and all round pkeasant Only downside... unable to use cash for drinks at bar - our relations were with us from Australia and wanted drinks but didnt have a card actually half poured drink then threw away when not being able to pay! (Id gone to bed so culdnt help)

I didn’t like the way the male night staff spoke to us, when we were waiting at the reception door for him at 00:30 after having a cigarette out side and realised I had left our key card in the room, he stood at the left door egnoring us, to then come and stand on the other side of the glass door shouting use your card key i then told him I had left it in the room and told him the number of my room. He the proceeds to tell us if you dont take your card next time I’ll leave you waiting

It was the first time we had visited the Ibis hotel. It won't be the last. It had ample parking out the front for numerous cars. Nextdoor was a Toby carvery which was handy for different types of food. We had a walk in shower which came in handy if you were struggling to get into a bath. The hotel is really close to the railway line with a bit of traffic but not too noticeable. The only problem we had was with the entry card which took a while to register before we could get in the room even when the receptionist reprogrammed the card it was still not working correctly. Only a small niggle perhaps but frustrating if you were dying to get to the toilet.
