Great room

Quick check in by friendly staff. Had read reviews saying could be noisy if room near M1 so requested a quiet room furthest away from lifts and was allocated quiet room at end of corridor. Room was clean, spacious and bed very comfortable. For £50 a night I wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised.

A great stay as usual

This was our third visit to the hotel. As previously, check in with quick and easy and the receptionist was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed comfortable with extra pillows available, which was good for me. The shower was good with plenty of hot water and shower gel and shampoo. Overall a good experience for the price and we'll definitely be using it again the next time we come up.

Perfect hotel

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Value for money was exceptional and the staff are outstanding. We were made to feel so welcome and our every need met. We had dinner one evening which was super and a hearty breakfast every morning - all great quality. Also loved the relaxed scandi vibe of the hotel… the lobby is lovely to sit in. Would highly recommend!

I loved my stay here for the week and everything was amazing in every aspect apart from the doors... Oh my god!... Every door was equipped with self closers which is great but they were not calibrated properly. This meant that every single door slammed every time someone used one and it was incredibly frustrating when someone was using them often into late night/early morning. Apart from that then everything about the stay was wonderful in every way.

Reception didn’t mention breakfast when checking in and when I asked a few minutes later was told it was £11.50 but it says if I’d booked on check in, it was £10! Surely someone should’ve mentioned that? Windows open because of heat but motorway traffic noise was horrendous all night as a consequence

We checked in late as we had been to a wedding, but the lady on the desk was friendly and welcoming. Check in was quick and we were soon in our room. The beds were clean and comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep in a nice quiet atmosphere. Next morning, as we had ordered breakfast, we were greeted by a very friendly young lady who showed us what was on offer. We tucked in to a most acceptable breakfast, the full english was lovely and hot, and the continental had plenty to choose from.
