A Room with a View
Sadly I had to cut my two-night stay short due to impending bad weather and icy roads. The location is a bit remote, but the facility is comfortable and scenic. My room was charming and the continental breakfast very nice. I will definitely return in the summer.

We were welcomed in the parking lot by the hostess at the resort and brought to our cabin. The place was fantastic! It was great to have a full kitchen and be able to fix our own food. My wife was impressed by the cleanliness of our accommodations, which are VERY important to her. We want to come back next summer when we have relatives come for a visit from Alabama.

This was such a quaint and homey spot on beautiful lake with paddle boats and kayaks. I was welcomed by staff in the parking lot and escorted happily to my room. View from the room was amazing. I watched loons fish in the lake and heard their calls several times. A bit off the beaten path but that’s part of its charm! Highly recommend!

So peaceful and quiet. A totally restful environment with pleasant ready to serve proprietor. Stayed in cabin 9, it was large comfortable. Inside was easy access for someone with a walker. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms large...one king size bed the other bed was queen with a little porch outside a door in the bedroom. Grounds were beautifully kept with the.lake down a hill and didn't seem overly crowded by boat traffic. Water vessels available with life Jackets and a decent beach area. Several fire pit areas were available with chairs all around for comfort and so you don't have to bring your own...it rained so we didn't get to have our s'mores but I just bet it would be perfect. Grills are at each cabin if grilling is your thing. Let's just say...PERFECT PLACE TO VACATION, GET AWAY AND RELAX.

My husband and I stayed in the Lodge. If you are looking for a place to stay overnight in the Moose Lake area, I highly recommend a lakeside room with its huge windows overlooking Hanging Horn Lake. The hospitality is top-notch and everything is clean and well-maintained.

More than we expected
This is a quaint, out-of-the-way resort, which is not so quaint and not so out-of-way. A beautiful setting on a quiet lake. The staff made sure we were taken care of and our family enjoyed some time on the lake in peace & quiet.

A hidden gem
This resort is absolutely amazing! The view out our window was just gorgeous, and we loved being able to walk along the lakeshore. The hotel itself is very cozy, and well kept up. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a very homey and welcoming feel to it. They have a library of DVDs, books, puzzles and games that you can borrow while you are staying, and watch/play in your room. The staff was very friendly and had great recommendations for local restaurants. I was delighted to find a collection of locally found agates on display by the front desk, and I was able to buy a jar of them. I think it will serve as a beautiful keepsake from this trip, and I can't wait to come back and stay again.
