The room was listed as wheel chair accessible. I assumed this would mean a higher toilet, accessible shower, bathroom grab bars to help get on and off toilet. This room was only wheel chair accessible on one side of bed. A wheel chair would not fit on patio side. The toilet was very low, so it was impossible to go from wheel chair to toilet and back again. I used the door handle as a grab bar to get off the toilet. I had planned to take a shower but could not get into the tub. We often come to Barrie and always use the Days Inn. I just had surgery and was very dissapppointed in this experience. the room struggled to get off the toilet and

This property is well situated in relation to highway 400. The beds were comfortable and our room was clean. However... we were staying for a hockey tournament (our children are teenagers) and some of the other guests were a bit questionable. A couple of our players were propositioned by other guests and there were some interactions with others in the area that could make some people feel unsafe. We had a lot of people so it wasn't bad for us. The staff were very friendly. They got us a meeting room so the parents could socialize. I would have liked to have some yogurt and fresh fruit included with the breakfast, not just apples. Sadly for a hotel with the Wyndhem name it was not the best experience and it was not a property that was up to what I would expect from this brand or the price.

Room was comfortable but missing some features typical of most hotel rooms. Had to open suitcase on the floor because there was no place to support suitcase. No bathmat available and had to go purchase one for the stay. Hotel said renovations on tubs coming at some point.
