Our experience was terrible and I will not be staying at a Travelodge again. The hotel looked like it was newly renovated but it was dirty & more repairs were needed. The shower was stained, the toilet was dirty and it didn’t look like it was cleaned. Carpets in the hallway were stained and there were holes in the walls. It was also extremely noisy. When we arrived there was a party in the lobby area & all night there were kids running in the halls. From 12-2am teenagers were running up and down the halls screaming and banging on doors. I called the front desk many times but no one answered.

The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Like any other hotel, there were people talking loudly in the hallways, but that is not a reflection on this hotel’s service. It’s close to lots of restaurants and convenient to the highway. If I need to stay in Barrie again, I would definitely go back.

Staff was very courteous, kind, quick to respond to any concerns. The only issue we came across is the sound of the heating system inside the rooms. It was very loud. The weather was mild so we end up turning it off. Rest everything was good.

Great place to stay was able to pre check in. Was a little confused by Expedia since the price came out on both my credit and debit card so paid twice but I was told that is an easy fix with a phone call. We’ll see!

I checked in at 3:30pm. Then went to get some food for myself and my daughter. We got back to the hotel about 4:20. When we got into the room with our food we tried to turn on the tv to which it didn’t work. I called the front desk and they told me maintenance would be there shortly. I didn’t hear anything again for about 45 minutes so I messaged the front desk from my phone this time asking if they had an eta because I just wanted to have a shower and didn’t want to leave my daughter in the room alone with someone fixing the tv. Nobody answered. I called again to the front desk after it had been a little over an hour. The man I spoke with said he would see me shortly and apologized. I waited for another hour. I called the front desk again to which they didn’t answer the phone but messaged my cell phone instead saying they’re trying to fix it. But at this point I had asked for an eta twice and just had been told that someone was coming (first maintenance and second was the front desk guy.) I messaged them again telling them how I was beginning to be frustrated had they not told me someone was coming would have been better than false hope of someone coming to fix the tv. I waited another half an hour before someone finally came with a new tv. The entire sight was booked with some kind of sports tournament so it was extremely noisy with kids running around in the hallway. And when I came out of the room around 12:30 the halls were littered with garbage, candy, nuts and socks
