We stayed there on the Sunday of a long weekend. Unfortunately for us, they do not work at full staff on long weekends. There was no maintenance available to help us with a mishap in the sink. First they told us it was impossible to retrieve a diamond pendent that was lost in the sink that it was already in the water system. We hadn't run the water and new it was sitting in the drain pipe. Had a hardware store been open I would have bought a wrench and retrieved it myself. They did not want to handle it because they did not have the staff there. They called in an outside plumber retrieved the pendant and then dinged me for $374.31 on my credit card. I told them that they should pick up some of the cost as they did not have the appropriate staff there. They refused. I was more than willing to split the tab but they didn't budge. I will not be using this chain of hotels again unless they are fully staffed. Even then I would be hesitant.

I stayed at the Barrie location with my daughters, on our last morning, I woke up to bites, red swollen areas on my back, arm and leg, scratching in my sleep. The next morning I went to the front to show the front worker and the worker goes “oh they look like Mosquito bites, I said we are in August, in a city and those are not from mosquitoes”. Anyways, front worker was to tell manager, manager then said they would look into it, I carried on and went home 6 hour drive. No call from them so I called when I got home, all they are going to give is a 20% discount and that they don’t find anything in the room. Now these bites are clearly from bed bugs as the bites are in clusters and/or in straight lines. I wouldn’t recommend as they failed to accommodate me after this experience!

Friendly staff. Clean room. People in room next to us played loud music until 1AM. Front desk had to call them then go and knock on their door. They eventually turned it it down but took their time.

Disappointed but clean.

Beds were comfortable, pillows flat and bedding was poor quality and would fall off. Hot tub has been cemented in and not listed as unavailable. No working ice machines so had to get front clerk to get from kitchen. Floor tiles in bathroom was missing grout and cracked and cut my daughters foot. Patchwork with scotch tape

Ice machine was broken and the hot tub has been closed and blocked up, unfortunately. Otherwise, a clean, comfortable hotel with a nice pool. Breakfast offerings are excellent.
