The staff is absolutely caring and nice Little disappointed when got to room the door was broken(still safe) but couldnt believe they would keep as is and not care about appearance. bathroom a bit out dated, need new shower head and get ride of the tubs (yuck)

Recommend for your Stay in Barrie

Wonderful spacious room. Everything was crisp and clean. The breakfast is pretty darn good and came with the room! Nice pool area and hot tub to relax in. The exercise room was well above average. Will return to this hotel in the future!

We typically always stay at this hotel when coming to Barrie but the overall condition of the building and cleanliness has declined significantly. The rooms need a deep clean immediately and the building needs to be better maintained. I don’t think we will book again unfortunately due to these reasons.

The vathroom fan which you are not able to turn off was insanely loud but I was unable to find a staff member to help me. I also had a problem with one of the elevators, which was a little unnerving. On top of that, the water pressure has been changed, it is so low it is hard to have a proper shower. I have stayed here dozens of times but this will be my last time as quality has suffered at this hotel over the past few years.

Front desk service was excellent and very welcoming. Every time we came through they were kind and interactive. Shoutout to the two gentlemen working. Our room was not cleaned on Saturday as we had a late start to the day. We thought it may be cleaned but did not specifically ask. We were not upset about that. But then on Sunday we asked our room to be cleaned and still our towels were left hanging from the day before. It would have been nice to have fresh towels put out and exchange the hand towels. The breakfast was nice and good change up each day. The area was very clean. One suggestion is waffle mix without the s’mores. 😀
