For the most expensive hotel in the area, I expected atleast the bare minimum. The neighbouring parking lot had flickering lights which made my room look like a night club dance floor in the night. It was unbearable. The hallways were extremely noisy and I could even hear my neighboring rooms talk. Poor sound isolation. The shower bathtub was brown stained and the caulking around the entire bathroom was brown and dirty, which gave the entire bathroom a dirty look which was contrary to the photos. There was a small fire on the upper floor from an oil spill from an hvac unit because guess what? The hotel had ongoing mechanical and roof reconstruction WHILE hosting guests. You could hear the roofers hammering nails starting at 9am. There was no evacuation plan from the staff and we couldnt even leave the parking lot because there was only one exit and the fire marshall blocked it. Please stay away from this hotel until major renovation is done to it.

Check in personnel were great! The room was relatively clean. There was tissue/toilet paper under the bathroom counter, on floor and something stuck to bottom of bathroom mirror (?toothpaste). Periodically in bed, would get slight odor...perhaps there had been a spill on carpet, but unsure. Unfortunately, I did not bring this to the attention to the front desk staff, as I was pressed for time.

When we first checked we were told it was a non smoking room and we would be charged if it smelled like smoke... Get to the room and it reeks of smoke. No thanks. They did switch us rooms no problem. Our bathroom wall had a leak behind the toilet which put nasty water on the floors. The bathroom is also extremely small. Can't even open it shut the door if you sit on the toilet. Overall it was okay but needs maintenance. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay.
