If you were not looking for this place, you would completely miss it! Very nondescript from the street, just a nice old house tucked in beside a church. But what a find! Very walkable to everything, clean suite (we were in Suite #2 on the second floor), very comfortable bed. Steve and Mark were excellent hosts. Would definitely stay again!

I tried getting ahold of hotels.com when we checked in. Very very disappointed it was a very hot week, we checked in to find that there is no air conditioning in the apartment and only one fan to accommodate. Even another fan would not have done any justice. We were sticky and not comfortable the entire time.
Also stunk of old food. Unfortunately wouldn't go back. Maybe in the winter! Nothing against the owners. Just not the place for us.
We had a very nice stay in room 4. Steve was very welcoming. Everything was perfectly clean. The room itself is a bit dated, but the bed very comfy. The bathroom is fantastic, very spacious and looks like new. The house is very close to many restaurants in downtown area, and to Centennial park by the lake. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning on the patio. Thank you, Steve!
This was a nice big place, clean and good value for the money. Better than a hotel room at any of the cheap hotels in town. Mark and Steve had some excellent freshly ground coffee, sugar and creamers for us to enjoy in the morning. Great location near downtown and the lake, but quieter than where the chain hotels are.
This is a wonderful place run by people who think of your every need. I have let everyone know how great my stay was and how much I am looking forward to staying with them again.
The property was actually lovely. But we were caught in an ice storm that killed the power so we spent the night in the cold and dark and our food went bad. In the early morning we wanted to leave but an iced-up tree had fallen on my husband's car and another over the driveway. Insurance stated that the proprietor was responsible for clearing the trees. We tried for over three hours to send messages, phone calls and knocked on the owners' door with no luck at all. Meanwhile there was a family emergency up north we had to get to urgently. The manager finally emerged hours later, and yelled at me, saying he didn't think this was an emergency. He was rude, and totally absolved himself from his innkeeper's responsibilities. I was appalled and shocked at the unprofessionalism.
Was very happy with my stay.
Room was clean and quiet. Maid service was there when we wanted it, but not when we didn't.
Kitchen was everything we needed for the week to eat.
All in all, very happy, and quite likely to return.
