We always stay at the Stone Gate Inn. The staff are wonderful. The manager is extremely kind, personable and knowledgable. He goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and stress free. Its a great place to stay.

Room was clean and really that is most important to me. It is opposite a beer store so that’s the tone. I was on the second floor and could hear the phone ringing. Doors closing. A customer ringing and ringing the bell. Not really close to anything. But restaurants are about a 10 min drive.

Quite warm in the room when we arrived and even after getting it a bit cooler when we returned from the concert it seemed to be warm again. Not sure about the temperature system. From previous stays I knew you had to point the remote at the black box on a shelf to the right of the TV. There should be instructions in the room regarding this.

When my originally booked hotel notified me last minute that their hot water boiler broke and I had to find another hotel, booked the stone gate. Website didn’t mention it nor did the front desk but there was construction going on. Our room was sandwiched between two rooms being demolished. Noise was ridiculous. Was loved to a new room. One directly below our other room and construction was going on there also above and beside. Would have been nice to be told. Or atleast given a break on the fees.

The hotel is very quiet and safe, easy parking. There is a small kitchenette in the room which is very convenient. For the size of the room and the amenities it is very affordable.
