The hotel was in a great location to local restaurants and walking paths along the lake with nice kids amenities (playgrounds). The overflow parking was easy walking distance and felt safe (common sense do not leave valuable in the car). The rooms were modest and the beds were very comfortable and for our stay. I would definitely recommend staying at The Champlain Waterfront next time I visit Orillia.

Pipes in the basement room were extremely noisy but was easily accommodated to a new room on a different floor. No hassle or many questions, just did it. Also, accommodated an early early check in which was so greatly appreciated

It was very pleasant! My only qualms was that there was a lack of an outdoor patio to enjoy the nice breeze coming off the lake!

Pleasant stay

Great location and a great price. My only comments would be that the air conditioner unit which was right by thehead of the bed was loud and rattled. Needed the dust blown out too. The staff could have been more polite in greetings. We were ignored until we said 'good morning', etc. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
