There were cobwebs in the corners and the room was too cold. Too tight a squeeze between the bottom of the bed and the TV. On the positive side, the beds and pillows are VERY comfortable and the bathroom and linens were nice and clean.

Unacceptable Check-In Experience – Request for Follow-Up I was scheduled to check in at 4:00 PM, but upon arriving at 7:00 PM, I was informed that my room was still not ready. This delay is completely unacceptable. I would like Expedia to reach out to the hotel management to clarify the reason behind this issue. Shortage of staff should not be considered an acceptable excuse, especially when I paid a substantial amount for a one-night stay. I had expected some form of compensation for the inconvenience, but all I received was a dry apology. The staff was noticeably discourteous, and the entire situation reflected a clear lack of coordination. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I hope appropriate action will be taken to address this issue.

Best hotel option in Orillia

Is not a 5 stars hotel, rooms are small and breakfast is basic. BUT, for the price it is the best hotel you will find in Orillia. Amazing location, just few steps from the Waterfront, 10 mins walking from Couchiching Beach and 5 minutes driving from Tufhope beach. It is also located at walking distance from the best restaurants in town. Parking is limited on site (20 cars capacity) but they offer another parking site two blocks away. Friendly staff

Orillia overnighter

Our stay was brief, but the service was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to have some bottled water in the room, but at least it was for purchase in the lobby. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Room right beside the road so was noisy. Restaurant attached was being renovated. Not open for a few more weeks. Parking a problem. Only a few spots behind, but had arranged to park in another parking lot about 1 1/2 blocks away. Don’t know where people will park when the restaurant opens,

Sunday morning at 9:30, there was no food (bread, muffins , etc), only coffee or tea, when asked the front desk, her reply was sorry we ran out and have not more. same day, ask the front desk to make sure room is clean with fresh towels, we came back to the room at 4, still not cleaned, spoke with front desk again, she made a note, arrive back at the room at 7 PM, still room was not cleaned, spoke with front desk, she advised, sorry we dont have cleaning staff now, cant help you. ask to call the manager, she did and spoke with him on the phone, he was no help and told her to wait until the morning and in the morning I asked for him, I was told he is off. ok now...went to have some breakfast, and again there was no food left, only tea and coffee. Front desk lady say sorry, no food left but brought frozen prepackaged muffins. Normally the hotels I book via expedite were perfect in the past except for this one. I would like to get a 1 night money refunded back to me, at the end my wife end up making the bed and doing the garbage. please make the arrangements for a night money to be refunded back to me.

The bed was soft and cozy. I didn’t want to get up. Breakfast was a little chaotic but in general the options were generous and tasty. The coffee machine in my room only had pods for hot chocolate and one decaffeinated coffee. The only thing I didn’t like was having to book on line via booking service. I did have a bad experience with that and was given a room I didn’t request. Fortunately the kind gentleman at the desk remedied the problem but as I am a senior citizen it was somewhat stressful. Overall it was a pleasant stay and you have done a great job in tastefully renovating the hotel. You do need more parking area as I’m sure you know.

I travel a fair bit and this was the cleanest room I've stayed in. Ever. The room was top down spotless and the staff was lovely. Property is definitely a bit dated at the surface but that doesn't keep it from being tidy. Incredibly comfortable bed, spotless space. Multiple restaurants within 10 minute drive. Highway also within 10 minutes. Great spot if you just need a stop off or don't want you stay in Pittsburgh proper.

We just wish there would be more parking in the proximity of the hotel! Walking 2 blocks for that extra parking lot with some luggage for a whole family is deffinately not ideal.
