A+. Had a wonderful long weekend in Basel. The hotel is convenient to the tram and an easy 5 minute walk to the Rhine or 5 minute ride to Basel SBB. From the moment we arrived, we were happy. Am American traveler’s hotel - comfy beds, big towels, free bottlea of water, and ample room for living in the room! Highly recommend and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Overnight stay in Basel

Stayed for one night after a river cruise on the Rhine. Helpful friendly staff on reception, comfortable room. Had a roof top terrace with lovely views where you could drink your own wine or purchase from the restaurant.

The hotel was very nice, located in central Basel. The only downside was that it, apparently like other recently renovated hotels, did not have air conditioning (and it was unseasonably hot in Basel.

The location was great! The staff were friendly and accomodating. Very nice hotel! We overslept since we'd had a huge travel day, and although we were late checking out, the staff were very understanding and didn't charge us extra.

It was fine. The room was clean, the service was good, there was a good selection for breakfast. However, we could not get an electric kettle for tea. The front desk told us to use water from the coffee Machine, but that does not work well. We were able to get electric kettles in every other hotel we stayed in in Switzerland.
