Close to local bars / restaurants, access to transport links. Large, spacious rooms, small bathroom, no air conditioning, warm at night. Opened the windows but noisy street below, traffic until the early hours. Good breakfast buffet, plenty of choice but some items cold (hash browns) omelette not always available.

In urban area close to river and old town. Clock tower has bells every quarter hour so a bit hard to have uninterrupted sleep. Cute clean and nice staff

Absolutely loved this hotel. The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was large and the bed was the most comfortable of all the places we stayed in Europe. Great breakfast. A very convenient location to walk to old town and easy to access the transit system as well.

The room was large and bed comfy and there was good lighting. The staff at the front desk were so friendly and gave us great info regarding restaurants and how to catch the buses around town. Location was great as well!

Hotel was great, convenient for Basel (15 walk to riverfront) right next to Spalen Gate. Staff were great, we managed to get parking on site but few spaces available - charged my hybrid car for a low price. Lovely hotel
