The location was perfect - on the beach - with wonderful restaurants and properly priced. Although it is best to rent a car to enjoy the other locations, you can also walk to some restaurants and there are taxis close by.

Short stay in St Kitts
Room was clean and comfortable. Balcony was uninviting with 2 chairs not in very good condition. Beach was great with lovely sand and the breakers meant it was ol for swimming. Most of the reception staff were welcoming but other staff in cafes in the hotel and grounds were not very friendly making the event not a pleasurable experience.

I had a third floor room right on the beach. The view was wonderful. No elevators, so I walked up 4 floors all week to get to the room. Water leaked in the patio door which was never addressed. Last night, I think my Tv blew a fuse. Lights went out. Overall, the hotel was probably a 3.5 stars, not the 4.5 that was on Expedia. I traveled alone and felt safe throughout my entire trip. Staff was courteous and helpful. I would definitely visit St. Kitts again, just try a nicer hotel.

We enjoyed doing shuffle board after diner and volleyball competitions in the main pool. I believe the Marriott vacation club owners were treated differently and given more information. Found out about free shuttle to sargassum less beach, activities, sports equipment from other guests who were part of vacation club. The beach was on atlantic so not the blue one would expect from caribbean island, plus lots of sargassum(seaweed). Rooms were nice but definitely needed updating. Staff were super friendly and helpful, so was everyone on the island. Food at cafe and sushi bar was good, Fire steak house not so much. Property grounds were very well kept. Wish they had one pool that was deeper but they were good size so never felt crowded. Loved the island but would stay somewhere else next time just because I love the caribbean beaches and this resort didn’t have the type of beach I look for when traveling to the caribbean.
