Online reviews looked good so i booked it. Traveling home from a trip to BBHofF. Planned to go to jamestown but companion wasnt feeling well. I found this place well getting dinner. Cost and reviews for just a sleep over arriving about 930, sleep, snd go leave for home fairly early. It all seemed good. We arrive and immediately feel weird. Property was run down outside. Landscaping shoddy, parking lot a mess with pot holes. And a group of loud young adults hanging by the entrance, smoking ciggs, weed, and i suspected a meth head was among them, based on one of the groups members having face pits and pretty rough looking, with a mop head of hair. Anyway they paid us no mind, we walked right by them. But it just isn’t a good look and you immediately feel uneasy about staying. Once i side the door the lobby is musty smelling , snd that weed/druggish metallic like smell. So wr go inside to check in. Other then waiting several mins for a desk clerk it was smooth and Up to the room we go. Elevator is jerky and i saw no license on it. We used the stairs after that. Up stairs hallway same smell as downstairs. Went to get our luggage. And saw two members of the group fighting and punching each other. At this point i really was thinking of leaving. To our surprise, our room was clean!!! And did not smell!! All good stuff. Made it a little easier to spend the night. Still felt uneasy staying there. At some point cops came and broke up the group.

The pictures online and what you will encounter are on completely different ends of the spectrum. There seems to be a homeless shelter operating on certain floors of the hotel. The hotel stay served it purpose, we will not go back.

I booked this hotel on your recommendation of 4.7 Good hotel rating. It was by no means near that rating. I was scared when I pulled up seeing the sign torn and Quality Inn showing through. People, ladies and kids, were loitering around the front. We have an expensive car and were literally terrified something would happen. I even asked the front desk that "I'm scared, is it safe". Going up the elevator, it was dirty and held together with duct tape!! We were given a room, lock didn't work, second room, TV didn't work, 3rd room, air conditioner didn't work. The pain, fright and frustration I went through Sunday night was unimaginable considering I have taken Expedia's recommendations for years with no problems. Expedia tried and received the same treatment. Turns out the management is not very agreeable to give refunds, so we are out the nights fee. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR STAY!!!

Needs lots of physical and management improvement

The hotel was more impressive on line than in person. Building was very rundown on the outside. Once inside the lobby was run down and the ladies room was locked and non functional. We had 3 rooms reserved for a family function. Two rooms had to be switched, one because the key didn't work and the other because it hadn't been cleaned (we checked in about 5:30 and the hotel was not busy). One of the switched rooms was not all that clean and had storage items from the hotel in it but the person staying in it decided to keep it as we were only staying one night, thankfully. The elevator on the second floor had the down button covered so you had to hit the up to eventually go down. Stairwell was beat up and dirty. So basically a very run down, poorly managed and understaffed facility.

1st impression really bad/room really good!

Outside of hotel unkempt. Signage for building unreadable. Many people hanging around outside- living in building. Receptionist only said ’ID’ and then handed me a key card and said’425’. Not friendly or welcoming. Family left a message for us 10 minutes before we arrived and we were not given the message. Lobby needed cleaning/ elevator needs refurbished, 4th floor had a smell coming off elevator- like stale cigarettes. Room was beautiful except long black hairs in tub

Horrendous!

Hotels.com should be ashamed to sell rooms at this hotel. Obviously, the hotel is some type of drug addiction housing program. Group of about 12 drug users were in lawn chairs in the parking lot at all times, with one laying face down on the pavement . Witnessed people smoking drugs while sitting on the windowsill at the entrance to the building and in the elevator. Was offered drugs for sale at the entrance of the hotel.

The room was ok. Homeless hanging around the entrance was a little unsettling. People passing a pipe in the parking lot to the right of the enters. Wes a little nasty. Not being able to see the car from the room didn't feel good. No breakfast at all No restaurant as advertise. It's a little disturbing as a guy was walking around the parking lot picking up cigarette buts and lighting them? I wish someone had told us this hotel is being used as a homeless shelter.

I'll lead with the staff who were attentive and helpful and seemed to want to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The room itself was clean and well kept but as other reviews have stated it is half remodeled. The entrance downstairs was clean and nice enough but the hallways in the rooms were not very clean and some areas had a distinct smell. As I said, our room was in fine shape but the hot water had to run for several minutes to get warm and towels showed quite a lot of wear and tear. For one night as adults it was fine but I would not recommend for families.

The location is okay, but there was no towels, and the front desk had no one picking up the phone. Later was told on Sunday, no house keeping staff on duty. The wifi was awfully slow, and got kicked out every few minutes, quite ridiculous. The coffee was awful, didn't taste like coffee.
