Room very nice although multiple stair cases to get there. I liked the secure car parking but would be tricky if you had a big car. And I expect it gets full quite quickly. The bar and restaurant fairly noisy but guess that's expected in a town centre pub.

Staff were excellent. Room clean and comfortable, lots of attention to detail with nice toiletries and tea tray. Breakfast was very good and the evening meal of belly pork was delicious. We were at the front of hotel on a noisy street, lots of drinkers outside the pubs and a costa shop delivery lorry banging every night around midnight -1am. no heating or hotwater on last morning. Some doorways are low and husband cut his head.

Visiting longleat with family. Not easy to find at night & not familiar with area. Car park was far too small so parked in town car park. Bed was very big and breakfast was delicious.

Parking was secure, if a bit tight. Bar is nicely presented and food is good. Staff were all lovely. Only downside is that the area of the hotel where the rooms are needs some refurbishment.

A historic pub and hotel , lovely staff, room very clean and comfy and breakfast to order and nice fresh food . Lovely Frome is worth exploring and the pub restaurant very welcoming . An amazing bus service to Bath from the front of hotel.. runs till midnight !

Poor check in. I had emailed them to check they had vegan options hot no reply and told they are often too busy to check their emails! Hotel rooms tired carpets dirty. Staff pleasant

The staff at the George Hotel were excellent, friendly, cheerful and efficient. Our room (19) was looking a bit tired but it offered everything we needed. We slept well occasionally disturbed by rattling pipes/extraction in the bathroom wall though.
