Booked what i thought was a standard room But it turned out to be a disabled access room The mattress seem to dip in the middle The ensuite bathroom was a wet room Paid for parking for our duration of our stay But was not guaranteed a space if we moved the car would have to park on a side street or another car park

We chose this hotel because it said parking available- well it is but at a £17.50 (using the discount code) per day rate, so remember to add that in to your budget. The hotel team were lovely and helpful. They were really short staffed and our room wasn’t serviced however they gave us new towels at reception and it didn’t impact us at all. The Breakfast is good and easy to walk to town. The air conditioning is great and there’s a lift! The restaurant food looked basic and fine but we didn’t dine. Lots of others did. It’s a busy hotel.

Dissapointing stay. Checked in late at property. Car park was full. Instructed to park at alternate area. Later received fine via car rental company. Subsequently paid for carpark too. Now out of pocket for parking and fine payment. Secondly aircon in room was not working. Staff were unable to rectify issue, gave us portable fan which was inadequate on a warm night.

Hotel room was dirty carpet had loads of bits of food and dirt on it. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for about 10 seconds at around 4am which disturbed our sleep and made our baby cry. I could hear other people in other rooms talking and banging doors. Breakfast was a disaster, long queues, no plates, knifes or cups available had to go up multiple times to get items as and when they were replenished. Really poor service. And no high chair available as all in use. Need to get more.

The staff are super friendly and helpful only down fall was the rooms are on the small side when there 3 of you with a pull out bed. The hotel is just a 10 minute stroll to the town centre which is amazing.

Great location to walk into Bath centre, the staff worked very hard especially during breakfast times. They were all polite and accommodating, even when it was clear to see they were really busy at times. Some of the guests were very rude to the staff, at busy times when it was clear to see they were doing their best to keep up with stocking the food counters and cutlery trays I felt there was no need to speak to them that way and it was a bit inconsiderate. Parking is outside the hotel and payable when parking a code needs to be given by reception to reduce the price to £17.50 per day, just pop in before paying. If visiting Bath again I would be happy to return due to the convenience and the fact it was all very easy, no issues throughout our trip. There were food facilities and a Sainsbury’s nearby. If looking for a nice restaurant I would recommend Sotto Sotto it’s a lovely little Italian place, may need to book in advance, it took us 3 attempts to get a table, the staff are very friendly there.

Excellent in pretty much every way, its a pretty easy walk into town, on site parking, lots of local shops and restaurants, good breakfast, nice and well equipped rooms, very nice staff.. this was my 4th stay,,,its not cheap buy you get what you pay for!

Uncomfortable stay

It was a very warm period when we stayed. So delighted to find air con in room, but the first night found it just did not work. It was very uncomfortable in the room. Reported it to the manageress who was no help at all, simply said that’s it it’s working without checking it. The next day we reported it again to a different person who said they would check it out. Eventually got a fan which made it a little bit more comfortable but it simply spoiled a lovely trip.
