Couldn’t find my booking number but did accommodate us. I booked a “panoramic” suite just to be told there’s no such thing… just a queen bed and we had trouble turning the tv on.
As soon as we walked in there were roaches crawling on the walls and dead roaches on the floor. Manager offered to switch us rooms so we agreed. The room she switched us to had a smoke alarm with a dead battery so it was beeping every 10 seconds and the whole room smelled like cigarettes and must. The wifi wasn’t enough to even work the tv’s even though they offer “fast wifi”. Random guys hanging outside the rooms asking for lighters or a cigarette. You know it’s bad when the door stays locked to the office and the manager has to buzz you in. I booked this hotel from out of town knowing nothing about it or the location, but choose it because the reviews were good. This place is far from good. I’ve been in some bad hotels working in the oilfield but I wasn’t about to sleep with roaches and crackheads outside my door while having my pregnant wife with me. I went to the manager and asked for a refund which she gave me.
There were people screaming and chasing each other in the parking lot. The manager wasn’t on the property. The room was AWFUL and DISGUSTING. By far the worst experience I have ever had.
About 1/2 check-in office occupied by motorcycle. Unable to provide a room due to no cleaned rooms. Less than 10 cars in the lot. Had to go elsewhere. Worked out as elsewhere turned out to be a nice place to stay at around the same place. This hotel looks a half step from bankruptcy.
First room we had was loaded with roaches.. So I went downstairs and the hotel clerk was so nice she called her boss immediately and issued us another room wish they would’ve gave me a discount for the inconvenience but other than that the hotel is not bad floors could’ve been mopped they were a bit dirty and the WiFi only seemed to work well at night… overall I give the hotel 6/10
I was told by staff that I would receive a refund of $67 for the last day of my stay at the Boardwalk hotel due to the water not working the day and night of my last day there. I was unable to take a shower and I was unable to was my hands. I have not received my refund and I am unable to get in contact with customer service.
Myself and 3 other friends made reservations months in advance for the LSU vs Alabama game. We all booked a 1 night stay, which was allowed at the time of the booking.
The week before our reservation, my 2 friends had there reservations cancelled. After doing some research, the hotel owner claimed the hotel was over booked. However, you were able to rebook the rooms at a 2 night minimum and double the price per night! Numerous attempts were made to speak with the owner, but he never returned any of my calls. (the hotel manager was nice and stated this issue was beyond her control and provided me with the owners number)
Luckily, I had booked with Hotels.com and they must have denied the owner from canceling my room.
When we arrived at the hotel, they had over booked and only had 2 of our 3 rooms available.
Shame on the owner of this hotel for his shady ways of business. I feel sorry for the workers that have to deal with upset customers because of his shady business practices.
In addition, our room did look like the pictures, but there is a reason they are using colored lighting. Disgusting rooms and bathrooms.

I will never stay here again. Upon arrival there was a slumped over crack head in the parking lot. Not to mention all the homeless people walking around. The rooms were not very clean. The floor was all cracked up and roaches were crawling around. We felt very unsafe with all of the activity in the area.
