First off, they surprise you with having to pay for parking. While in Baton Rouge, we were engaging in late activities and hoping to sleep in for once. However, the cleaning crew was loudly banging on doors and yelling throughout the hallways at 7:30 am. We called hotel management and he rudely stated, "It's protocol," and rudely hung up the phone. We asked the cleaning crew to stop yelling to one another and they ignored us. On vacation, paying that much money, you should be able to sleep past 8 am. To add insult to injury, the coffee downstairs is $5. The breakfast buffet is $25 and nothing that you couldn't get free at another hotel. I've stayed at several other hotels in this area and this was the worst value.
