We had a wait a while to check in due to the front desk employee sitting in the back at 3:40PM. There was of line of guest that were waiting, not a good idea to disappear 40 minutes after checkin starts. You can tell they are trying to update the rooms, but the craftsmanship and execution is laughable. Our TV would not turn on and we could not even check to ensure it was properly plugged in because they screwed a decorative panel over the plug and tv mount on the wall. The breakfast, they could not keep up and food kept running out. The scrambled eggs had a gritty texture. It’s unfortunate because this place has a lot of potential especially with the courtyard pool area… I just believe it is missed managed/lack of funding.

Hotels.com photos does not accurately represent the current condition of the property. Hotel is extremely run down, none of the safety gates are operational, elevators not operational, risers on steps to go up to different levels of the hotel are rested and unsafe. There were orange safety fences to block them off but they were torn down. Rooms smell like must. Flooring is worn out, in need of replacement. Bathroom tiles are uneven due to water leaking out of showers because shower curtains are way too short for the water to stay in. Toilet ran all day and night. Refrigerator did not work. Coffee maker did not work. Lights on the side of the bed did not work. Need I say more.

Beds were clean. Place was run down. Weird smell in lobby. First room smelled mildewy. They did promptly offer to change rooms and let me check it out. Smell better, but both rooms were old and needed definite updating. No sheets/pillows/blankets for pull out. No hairdryer, couldn’t get one till maybe 8 am because no key to housekeeping closet. Courtyard nice
