I have been trying to contact you guys for over a week now this has been absolutely disgusting service and we never even got to opportunity to stay with you due to messing our booking location up I have called everyday I have reported it to Experia and they have tried to contact you also but have been unsuccessful, I’ve emailed your enquires email heard nothing I’ve emailed the manger mark and again nothing this is absolutely disgusting service

Loved the property and room. Chris welcomed us and gave us a tour and run down of the hotel and amenities. The Thai restaurant on site was amazing with great service. The opportunity lies with the bar service, it is table service but the staff was not as attentive as our previous experiences with table service. The bar was not busy at the time, so unsure of the delay in ordering and getting drinks. There was an overall lack of attention and follow up.

Very small room, more of a dungeon feel than guest room. Nowhere to put a case down, bathroom had a curtain for a door. For Price for a single night I expect to be able to walk around the bed without hitting the walls!

When booking was really looking forward to enjoying the pool area .. bar ect as on website … unfortunately very disappointed with the location of the room we were allocated across the road from the hotel itself which made it very detached and to be honest killed the moment , the room felt damp and had a stale smell which again wasn’t what I was expecting for the £438 charged for one nights stay … we cancelled the late check out and breakfast and left … totally over rated and over priced staying outside of the main building in my opinion … one positive watch staff very polite and helpful .. This was such a shame as we were both really looking forward to our first stay at The Bear .. Regards Vince Bryant
