We go down for a quick breakfast to find out it was to be ordered with a waiter. Was reluctant because I needed a quick breakfast, but there was few people eating and the hotel would not return my vouchers even though the website said nothing about not having a buffet. All in all we waited over an hour for hotel breakfast. That’s supposed to be fast. Wife got her food and then I was told the cook forgot to cook mine. I proceeded to pack our entire room and load in the car and still waited 15 minutes for my food. Extremely unhappy about that because I was counting on a quick one and be on my way, but instead wasted an hour of my 2 day vacation. Not to mention, the other guests in there unhappy because they didn’t get their food or the wrong food brought out to them. The ceiling in the breakfast room was falling apart and leaking on one man’s table. The trash can outside the entrance of the hotel was overflowing with trash on the ground. Q-tips were stuck in the top corner of the ceiling of my room with looked like toothpaste. All in all, I won’t be back. Wasn’t pleased. Least the bed was comfortable….

This hotel is run down, everything seems old and worn out. The ceiling in the restaurant area is cracking/falling apart, the patio outside of restaurant looks nothing like the pictures…dirty, not kept up..almost abandoned looking. We found one roach in our bathroom on the first night, along with mold in several areas of the bathrooms/shower/tub area. The AC is loud and the wall underneath the AC unit appeared to have old water damage. We would not stay here again.

The water went out in the morning. The property is clean and fine for overnight stays but I wouldn’t walk around the area (to downtown Beaufort). Didn’t feel safe enough for that.

Most of the staff were very courteous and the property was clean overall. The only complaint was we didn't receive any housekeeping services during the 3 night stay. I do want to say that the night clerk, I think his name was Charles Wilson, was amazing. He was very attentive on getting us fresh towels and such when I made him aware of the housekeeping issue. He's definitely the kind of guy that any business would be lucky to have representing their company.
