Beautiful room. Has all new buce appliances, even a dishwasher. Provide place setting utensils, bowls, all the little things youd need to cook. Modern kitchenette. Its clean, convenient. The bed very comfortable. Updated fitness center. The breakfast one of the best even to a 3.5 star hotel. Im impressed, it superseded my expectations. You cant tell by the outside of the building dies not reflect on the ibs The outside does not reflect the insde.everything from dishwasherall the essentails i give it a 9.

It wasn't exactly what i expected. A lot of permanent residency there. The rooms have been redone pretty recently and set up is convenient. For the most part the grounds were clean. The room was clean from what I could see but the bathroom not so much. Pubic hair in and around the tub and toilet. It is on a feeder/service road for I10 so is a little noisey but sure once you turn on the tv it would be ok. I did not stay, checked out after i attended the function I traveled there for.

The place was newly remodeled but it was not properly cleaned. The remote tv was missing and no soundproof windows or door. You could hear everysingle car, truck and trailer, even medical. Couldnt sleep at all.

Extremely Disappointing Stay When I arrived at my room, it was clearly not cleaned—there were beer cans scattered around, it smelled strongly of urine, and the overall condition was unacceptable. I initially assumed I had been given the wrong room by mistake. However, when I brought this to the attention of the front desk, I was told that the room should have been clean and that there were no other rooms available due to overbooking. To make matters worse, no effort was made to accommodate me. I wasn’t offered a different room, a cleaning service, or any form of compensation. I was told there were no staff available to clean the room either. This was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly advise others to reconsider before booking here.

The room I was assigned was not cleaned from the prior guest. Next room was clean. But the exterior of the hotel was filthy. Stairwell had garbage everywhere and the catwalks where disgusting.

The room itself was good and spacious, and the breakfast was decent, especially for a hotel near the freeway. However, our overall experience was mixed. We arrived late at night and had to check in through a window, which made us feel a bit unsafe. The first room we were assigned had a broken air conditioner, so we had to return to the window to exchange keys for another room. The overall atmosphere felt more like a motel than a hotel. Additionally, there were people in the parking lot in odd circumstances, which added to our discomfort. Not the experience we were hoping for.

Hotel waits for alarm before changing batteries.

At 1am the room fire alarm went off. It woke me, and I went to the service desk for help. I was told there was nothing they could do. There were no available rooms for relocation. I requested and received a refund, and then I left.

10 stars all around!

This is a fantastic hotel. Very clean. Everything is new and clean. Staff are very nice and sweet. Even housekeeping were sure to be quiet when moving between rooms. The room was 10 stars. I had 1 tiny problem with the TV and front desk was there within 2 minutes to fix it, just needed fresh batteries in remote. I will stay at Maymont exclusively based on this experience and only book through hotels.com Awesome
