If all you need is a bed & a room w/working heat, BWBCI will do. However, not at all close to the typical, overall BW experience. STAFF: Wonderful. ROOM: Dated & smelled a little musty. Beds fine. BATHROOM: The worst. Toilet handle was a bit janky, but it didn't fall off/break during our stay, so that's a plus. The shower was the worst. Small. It was like showering w/a pressure washer! Less than 10 streams from the showerhead, which not only had its "plate" detached from the wall, but had so much pressure from those few streams it hurt! Couldn't put my face in the line of fire. Unfortunately, BREAKFAST was also a huge let down. Appeared from the posted menu they usually offer the standards. I am chalking shortfalls up to it not likely a "typical" day, w/an impending storm & whatnot. There was one Superwoman (Lady J) in the morning trying to manage both the lobby & breakfast, & she was running around like a chicken w/its head cut off. I felt for her. Breakfast is 630-9. We had an early start & were looking forward to grabbing a bite (biscuits & gravy per menu) before hitting the road. But at 652 a.m. it was a sad spread (see pictures). Now, I believe she was trying to prep breakfast, but we weren't able to delay our departure & so I cannot consider what we may have experienced. Like I said, I don't think this was a typical day for BWBCI, but based strictly on our experience, I cannot recommend.

The room and the facilities were adequate. Unfortunately, we were cold all night. The blankets were not warm enough, and the heater could not keep the second bedroom warm. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. The area was quiet because there were very few people staying at the hotel. This place is a little ways from the main highway.

The staff here were fantastic. The location is convenient. The 2 queen room was fine and the 2 room layout with 2 TVs is a nice touch. The back room is a little tight for a queen bed but gets the job done. The shower was an odd, dark little cave of a space with a super water saving shower-head (wouldn’t be a great experience for people over 6 foot.) I didn’t notice until I was settled in that there were a bunch of dead gnats along with some dog hair in the bathroom. I quickly did a sweep of the floor with a towel to deal with it but I could imagine someone being understandably put off by that.

Friendly and prompt staff, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Of all the best westerns I’ve stayed at, this they had the most edible food. I liked that they had alternating offerings throughout the week so they could offer better quality food.
