Our room was recently renovated and very nice/comfortable - we liked the bed, other furniture in the room, and the bathroom. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the walls were thin; we had to move rooms after a family with a crying baby checked in to the room next to us. And then a few hours after that, around 1 AM, the guests above us were being very loud with music and tv and it kept us awake despite our sound machine being on at full volume.

Tired looking but affordable and friendly staff
Was just for sleeping on the way home from a trip. Was convenient and affordable. No amenities but we didn't need any. A window pane was cracked and everything felt tired but they are trying hard. Overall for getting some sleep while traveling this fit the bill. Staff incredibly friendly. Of note, a lot of noise traveled from other rooms and the hall into the room.

Not an ideal stay. Checked in the first room and the door wouldn’t lock, was moved to a different room and the door wouldn’t unlock, finally the third room had a working functioning lock. The rooms are dated and dingy and didn’t really feel clean. Nor did I ever really feel safe in the room as a solo female. The staff was amazing and so friendly though.

Great place to stay - perfect location for hiking and touring The New River Gorge National Park. (Which is totally amazing!). Staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast bar was a bit below the usual - packaged foods only so no eggs or sausage, oatmeal. They did have a waffle machine, yogurt in cups and muffins. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean but small for two people - no vanity space. We had a nice stay there and would return again when in area.
