Room and beds are comfortable. The hotel/motel is very simple. Breakfast is limited. Everyday the same thing and no breads, only biscuit. Location to the New River Gorge park is great!

Musty Room

The hotel room was clean and tidy, however, the room smelled musty and there was a mildew problem in the room. It was hard to sleep there and our allergies the next day were awful. When I spoke to the front desk person upon checkout, she was apologetic and gave us a 15% credit, but that wasn’t satisfactory.

Our new overall stay was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. The only thing I wish they had was an area to exercise your pet. You can find small patches of green space but they needed attention due to litter and taller weeds. A fenced in area specifically for pets would have been a welcome addition.

Room smelled overwhelmingly like hospital grade cleaning products. Stained towels in bathroom. Pool only open until 9 pm but clean. Outside is very run down with missing wood railings. Is conveniently located by both eating establishments and a gas station.

Gorge visit

There were no toiletries such as shampoo or conditioner provided in the room—only a bar of soap was available. Additionally, when I asked for recommendations in the area, the front desk clerk simply responded, "our bar is good." As someone who travels frequently and was new to the area, I would have appreciated a bit more insight or suggestions on places to visit or dine in town.

It’s old dated and tired . The bed sinks in the centre , the curtains faded , the carpeting smells dirty and obviously moldy.

It is close to the entrance of New River Gorge, so that's why we booked it. The room was clean, although the carpeting looked old. The bed was comfortable. The breafast is in a separate part of the facility, so we had to walk outside to get there. I appreciated getting a room on the lower level so we didn’t have to climb stairs.

The bed was nice and firm. The room was clean but had a peculiar smell. The continental breakfast was average. In all, it was a nice hotel and I would stay there again if passing through the area.
