For the price, just okay.

So first of all, the price was right. So I didn't expect it to blow me away. Also, the picture of the outside of the property indicates it's a motel with three stories. But our room was on the inside (hotel). Maybe it's both. First thing we noticed was an -overwhelming- smell in the lobby of.. something. We couldn't tell what it was. After some time, I settled on Carpet Fresh. Like a 50 pound jug of it all used at once. It was irritating my nose something awful. When we got in the room, we noticed there was a lot of room for the $70 we paid. A previous job taught me to check the mattress by taking off the sheets to see if there were any bugs and look for stains. I didn't find either, but the mattress was an OLD double pillow top. Pillow on the side that was up, and also on the bottom. It was soft and squishy for a mattress, although sleeping in the middle of the king bed provided an adequate amount of support. The pillows? Nope. Small, and because of the feel of the room, we didn't use them. We usually bring our own, and are glad we did. There was a good sized fridge and a microwave, a desk, small round kitchen style table with two chairs, and a leather(?) recliner. Overall, it could've been cleaner. It wasn't what I'd call dirty, but it also wasn't in the 90% range of clean either. For the price, one could settle for this property. It was less than half the price of the others. No breakfast-not even a coffee pot in the room.

This is not really a hotel, but more of an emergency homeless shelter? They are housing people in the back part of the hotel. It felt unsafe. There is a weird list of rules at check in. The list looked like something you’d need at a halfway house, not a hotel. The man at the desk was nice, and he was honest when I asked about the housing situation. There are no elevators, so not handicap accessible.

There are two areas of this hotel. One area is behind the main building down a hill. This building is separate from the main building where I stayed. The main building where i stayed seems to be reserved only for travelers booking nights, whereas the second building has permanent tenants. The building with permanent tenants and the area around that building is not well maintained like the main building. Regardless, I would absolutely stay here again. The property I stayed in was very clean and well maintained.

We had a perfectly fine stay here and the staff were very accommodating - not sure why others have rated this place as unsafe. We needed to check in late after the front desk closed at 8 pm, but called ahead and the staff had no issues keeping it open for us. Rooms were clean and we enjoyed the art on the walls that gave a sense of the region's history. We also highly recommend getting breakfast at the Chocolate Moose just down the street - great coffee, sandwiches, and atmosphere!

Shower liner has mold and mildew in it.staff was friendly.the bathroom was very dirty.you can smell marijuana and people partying at the hotel late at night.bed was not comfortable.the room was clean but the bathroom was not clean
