Was able to check in very early even though official check in time is later. Also by upgrading to the executive floor, could have a 6pm check-out. This was very good because I had a late flight from PEK.
We had a nice experience staying at this property. We arrived at the hotel early and the staff at front desk is helpful to get us a room to check in first while trying to get the other rooms ready as soon as they can. Much appreciated.
This must be one of the worst hotels that I have stayed in , and I cannot believe it is part of the shangrilla group!
The restaurants buffet consisted red of 6 basic dishes ! And the rest were left overs from breakfast or lunch . Very poor and extremely disappointed .
Location is also terrible with nothing near it.
Good selection of food at the buffet, definitely worth purchasing club lounge access if you want a quiet area to enjoy breakfast with great views of the city
We were just there as we had a long layover. The room as spacious and the staff was very accommodating. We left too early to eat so don't know about the food. The bed was comfortable.
We had a very nice stay at the Hotel Jen before our flight back to the US. Very close to the airport - took us about 30 minutes. Beautiful large atrium. Breakfast was delicious with many options. The only negative was that while the rooms where clean, I found a piece of fruit on the ground in one our our rooms, and when I opened the drapes in our second room, a moth and some dust flew out. I guess our rooms had not been used in a while.
The hotel was chosen because our colleague being Jewish needs Kosher food and this hotel is near to the Jewish Center at Chaoyang.
The hotel is very nice. The staff wore rather casual but smart uniforms that are color coded with wool sweaters. The Cafe Noir is excellent but was crowded for morning breakfast because a large tour group arrived. I booked a room on the club lounge floor which allowed me to have my breakfast there. Crowded Cafe Noir problem solved!
The bedding is very good and the views from the room overlooking the Bahe River gave me something to look out. It snowed in the morning of the second day of stay and it is a delight to see the rooftops slowly covered in white.
Room amenities are really good too. The lavender scented shampoo is really good to use. What else? Ample power ports in convenient locations around the room.
Within 20 minutes walking and you are at a Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant branch. Overall a very good stay but it is pricey.
We chose this hotel because it was across the street from Beijing's only kosher restaurant. But the service, cleanliness & professionalism of the staff added to the value!
Nothing much to write about and there is nothing wrong with this hotel......just an ok hotel that has it all, but does not stand out.
It is in a good location, within walking distance to a chic little part of Beijing. I think the subway is too far to walk.
