Room was uncomfortablely hot
The hotel had nice interior, well maintained and clean. The location was in walking distance to Wanfujing walking street and local amenities. Our stay was early November and the weather still warm in the daytime. Unfortunately due to the season the hotel had prematurely switched off the cooling system making the room uncomfortablely hot.

Comfortable hotel
Service at this hotel is first class, Kevin and the concierge extremely helpful which is what you need when not able to speak Cantonese. The location is about 30 mins walk from Wangfujiang and Forbidden City, also relatively close to a choice of restaurants. The laundry room and gym are both excellent, well equipped useful facilities.

The location of the hotel is very good. Lobby is luxurious and they have a nice bar with good happy hour deals. The hotel has a nice laundry room which is free for guests, self service. Breakfast was great with many options. Our room had a comfortable king size bed with high quality linens. They offer a pillow menu with really interesting options, we tried all of them! Bathroom had lots of amenities and the shampoo/ conditioner smelled amazing. They did not offer an upgrade at check in but I felt the room was spacious enough for our needs that I did not request it either. Room had a great desk with multiple outlets, nice size TV with lots of channels and free water bottles, coffee/tea station. Lastly, we were amazed by how nice, patient and attentive the staff was. They were very helpful and always had a smile.

Park Plaza was lovely. Andy Jia was phenomenal. Mike Zhang and the rest concierge team was also helpful. Liked how polished the hotel was and enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and shops. Everyone was helpful but Andy provided us one of the best guest experiences we’ve ever had in all our travels.

Close to subway, comfy room
Room was comfortable and cleaning service was great. Good coffee and tea in the room. Useful reading desk in the room. I would stay again. Front desk staff speak enough English if you need it. Restaurant hours are not reliable. We tried to take advantage of their hot pot special, but the restaurant closed early. They do have free laundry machines, but most don’t work and/or aren’t cleaned.
