Dear Leonardo Hotel,
I recently stayed at **Leonardo Hotel Belfast** from 8th - 11th for three nights, and unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations. I wanted to share my feedback and request appropriate compensation for the issues encountered.
The primary issue was the extreme heat in the room. Despite having fans on, the temperature was unbearable, and I developed a heat rash. This made it very difficult to sleep over the course of my stay.
On one evening, at around 11 p.m., I rang reception to request water and ice. I was told “no” and that I should drink the tap water, as there was no bottled water left in the room. This felt dismissive, especially as other guests were still being served drinks at the time. The manner in which this was communicated came across as rude and unhelpful.
Overall, the combination of the uncomfortable room conditions, lack of basic amenities, and poor customer service significantly impacted my stay. I have stayed in many hotels and value professionalism, courtesy, and guest comfort—none of which I felt were delivered during this visit.
Given the circumstances, I believe compensation would be appropriate to acknowledge the disruption, discomfort, and overall poor experience. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and respond promptly.
