1st room the carpet was wet, moved to a smaller room which was set up as a single guest with only 1 towel. 2 calls & 1 request in person at the front desk to get extra towels. Went out for the evening to comeback with no towels. The night porter could only give hand towels. Overall poor service compared to previous stays & will reconsider returning in the future.

Second visit here and wont be back. Bar staff are uninterested and have terrible customer service. Karen at the front reception was lovely though and made us very welcome. She should get a new job where they value great customer service.

Nice hotel, great location. Disappointed that staff did not mention on check-in that a physical ticket was required from the associated car park to obtain the hotel negotiated rate, meaning it cost almost €30 instead of £17.50. On checkout when I became aware of this, the hotel offered no solutions or apologies, which was a shame.

Would definitely come back.
I only stayed a night but easily would have stayed at this hotel longer. Room was very comfortable and quiet, and in a good central location. Breakfast was also very good. Staff were friendly, efficient, and really helpful.

Top marks to the Malmaison Belfast!
A fantastic city break at the Malmaison. All the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, special thanks to Chloe, Dagmara, Fadli, Sourov & Alex to name just some. The room was nice, the food excellent, and atmosphere just right for our 4 night stay in Belfast.

Stayed one night for business. Check in poor, no one on reception, kept waiting for almost 10 mins. Ate in bar and food was good but service extremely poor and very disappointing. Extremely slow with drinks orders and lack of basic understanding of how to make drinks e.g. filling a ballon glass to overflowing with ice to make a G&T.

Not recommended for business travel. We booked and pre-paid for three rooms on Expedia for the same day, when we arrived the receptionist asked if our colleagues could share rooms as they were oversold. When we decided this was not appropriate the receptionist started to call other hotels, however this took her a while and I think this should have been done in advance rather than expecting colleagues to bunk-up together by default. As a minimum they could have notified me of the issue once they were aware so we could make more appropriate arrangements at another hotel. The hotel itself is ok, it’s an old building so you can hear people in the rooms around you. Breakfast and Dinner however were excellent - definitely the redeeming feature of this otherwise creaking hotel - both administratively and structurally.
