Really well located and only 15 minutes from city airport. Some really lovely features inside, well decorated and the staff were friendly. Only two concerns - the first night was incredibly loud when we were trying to sleep as there was a wedding on in the hotel. The team did offer to move us but after a day of travel, we just wanted to rest so decided against it and the noise stopped at midnight so it wasn’t too bad. Second issue was upon checkout when we were told we owed money for bar drinks which had been charged to the room. We only had two drinks each across two nights and paid for them at the time, nor did we ever mention the room number when ordering. It suggests that there are no checks when someone says they’re staying in a certain room can walk away with free drinks, and someone else will be asked to pick up the bill. The team were very gracious about it and removed the charge when we explained there’s no way it could have been us. I would still recommend the hotel but think it’s only fair to flag issues, and acknowledge that the team responded well to each.
Lovely staff & very comfortable room . Lots of noise from both road outside and from music in floor below but once I called reception they immediately moved me to a quieter room.
Breakfast choice could have been a bit better
The hotel staff were helpful and friendly as well as being able to stay in the heart of the city was a fantastic experience. Staying on the older side of the building the AC was not working well and made the room warm but overall was a great experience.
