Upon check-in I was informed that because of flooding above my room from another guest, I would not be staying at the hotel that I had booked several months in advance. I was to be moved to another hotel for one night. They "tried to" contact me, but were unable to before I arrived. This put a nice wrinkle on my trip logistics. They offered me a free dinner and transportation to another hotel and a room upgrade for one of the nights I would be there. Also transportation back (which I took a taxi that was not in "their network of partners") and a tour of the hotel (which didn't happen because the concierge wasn't available) was offered. How many vacations do you think I get a year? And I had to put up with this. Unpack, repack, unpack, Who wants to do that?
We stayed here as we were attending an event at the SSE Arena. The location was perfect as it’s just a short walk from this venue. The hotel is stunning. The rooms too were tastefully decorated with everything you could possibly need - toiletries, hair dryer, iron, A/C. We would definitely recommend staying here.
This hotel was amazing. The historical background of the building and the meticulous renovation and recreation of that history was impressive. Service was top-notch. I left a personal item in the room after checkout by mistake. I contacted the hotel, and they not only found my item but shipped it to me where I was staying in time for me to retrieve it before leaving Ireland. They were incredibly helpful and I really appreciate the extra effort. As a person who has long been interested in Titanic, being in this hotel was a dream come true.
The staff were lovely and gave us a mini tour of the hotel upon checking in. The food was lovely and the hotel room we had was exquisite. 10/10 will be back!!
right beside the Titanic exhibition centre! good parking (£18 overnight), short distance to shops/ city hall, St George market
Also, a few mins walk to the SSE area - indoor stadium and home to Belfast Giants, restaurants, W5 & Odyssey cinemas
Best Hotel I've ever stayed in. Everything was a 10/10 .
The Conciegne, Wil, was exceptional.
The host, John, was a cut above the rest.
Looking forward to another visit.
This is a beautifully restored hotel with many amenities and a hospitable staff. The rooms was wonderful and the bed was great. I am sorry to comment negatively on the breakfast. For convenience we chose to eat in the dining room. We were offered buffet or order off the menu. I chose to order off and my poached eggs were barely cooked. The buffet was picked over and the pastries were stale. Underwhelming for the price. Coffee was excellent, as was the fruit and yogurt. This is a wonderful hotel just don’t eat in.
I really enjoyed my stay, my room was very nice, staff were very accommodating and friendly. It is in a very unique part of Belfast where you can see ships coming in and out at the port there. If you are interested in the Titanic and the history of that ship, there is no better place to stay.
I would definitely stay again, thanks again for the nice stay. Steve
