It was a good experience overall. I found the rooms to be small and there wasn’t much choice for breakfast food. Also the indoor pool wasn’t working for the entire week we were there which was one of the reasons I took the hotel for the kids.

The property is tidy and secure. The service is satisfactory, except for the lack of air conditioning in the breakfast area and limited breakfast options.

We booked a double queen bed room weeks in advance of our stay, because we were travelling with our 2 kids. They didn’t tell us our room was no longer available until we got there to check in. They said they didn’t have any other rooms with 2 beds. Since we had nowhere else to go, they put us in a smaller room with 1 king bed. We asked for roll out beds for the kids and it took them 4 ours and us going down to the front desk 2 times to get the beds in our room (which they expected us to put the sheets on the beds). After we got the beds in the room, we had little no space to move. The room and bathroom roof had water stains. The bathroom had water leaks, the sink and shower were rusty, the tub was clogged and filled with water every time we showered. We also wanted to take the kids to the pools. However, both the indoor and outdoor pool water was stagnant, and had garbage and food in the bottom. The water slide was also broken. Hotel Management took no accountability or responsibility to what happened regarding them giving away our room, not providing a similar room, giving us a smaller room and taking 4 hours to provide us with enough beds. They didn’t answer our calls, or our booking support calls for 2 days. We didn’t receive a discount or any type of refund. This experience was so bad, we will never stay at this hotel or any other Ramada again. Please don’t waste your money. Find another hotel chain.

The only issue related to the quality of the internet which caused constant buffering. Given that their televisions were all RUKO linked, I ultimately turned it off in frustration when I couldn't watch the news for all the buffering. Free breakfast was okay but not as good as I have received at similarly priced accommodations.

The hotel is very conveniently located for travel throughout Prince Edward County (Sandbanks, Picton, wineries..etc). The best feature of the hotel itself is definitely the recreaction area - particularly the outdoor pool. Its not a huge pool, but big enough and the decking area around it is perfect for lounging and hanging out with family. Particulary great for families with kids. On the downside, the hotel itself is rather worn looking. Our room was spacious but it didn't feel 100% clean (peeling headboards, stains on the curtains and in the bathroom and lots of visible rust around door hinges). The bed is comfortalbe enough, but the pillows are TERRIBLE. Very small and lumpy. The TV works via a Roku app but the wifi is awful. For over half of our 2-night stay we could not use the TV at all (annoying as we were trying to relax and watch a movie in the evening). Overall the hotel is okay for the cost. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

The worst hotel accommodation experience I have ever had: • Dirty sheets (with traces of I don’t know what) • Humidity in the ceiling • Old furniture, broken in some places • Dirty, poorly maintained balcony • Freight train passing in front of the balcony once or twice per night • Outdoor pool at the very limit of being acceptable • Very limited breakfast restaurant; you have to find somewhere to sit outside the restaurant every morning • Excessive use of cheap disposable plastic tableware Not to mention the overall condition of the hotel, which is apparently old and poorly maintained/renovated.

Pleasant stay, enjoyed room balcony outdoors

Breakfast options ok; meat options (bacon, sausage links or ham slices) would’ve been nice. Coffee good, but there was often a lineup at the coffee machine because it took a long time for the green light to come on to signal the next cup was ready. Same with the 2 waffle griddles; people lined up there too. Staff should be able to make waffles in their kitchen behind the public area, then bring them out; as well as keep the current 2 griddles in the public area if people want to make their own. Outdoor pool area very nice; grandkids very disappointed the indoor pool water slide was blocked off. Room nice, beds comfortable, & having the outdoor balcony with chairs on it was a nice change too. I’m not familiar with a Roku TV, so it wasn’t that easy to navigate at first.
