This hotel was right of the 401, very accessible and it had a lot of fast food options in the area. There was also a restaurant located in the hotel. Plenty of parking and there was no cost to park more than 1 vehicle.
The building itself was very dated. Decor, appliances, bathrooms, and beds were all pretty old. The lighting in the room was mainly lamps with lampshades. The lampshades had yellow and brown stains, possible water damage. The ceiling had black marks, possible water damage. The bathroom had a tub and a old fashion 2 water nobs (Hot/Cold). The shower head leaked and the drain for the water was slightly clogged as it could not handle a regular shower. The tub has a slight leak it it as well as the bathroom floor developed a small leak.
Upon entering into the room, the carpets were not properly vacuumed as I saw crumbs all over the floor and the couch. The bed was made fine, it appeared to be clean. The pillows provided were very small considering it was a queen sized bed. The pillows resembled a throw pillow as it was square shaped.
This property did show as a 3-star which was the highest in town. I would rather drive further for a more modern hotel in the future.
