The rooms were nice and clean, lovely shower, free safe fridge also you could borrow things free of charge at the desk eg: kettle, bottleopener ect ( the front desk is open 24 hours a day) The staff are very friendly and helpful We really enjoyed our stay and the location is great

Excellent location

Excellent location across the road from the beach & so near to the old town. Plenty of restaurants & bars nearby. Would stay here again for a short break as it did us as a couple. However we had no hot water, the room was a little tired & could do with a touch up.

The perfect hotel in a beautiful area of Old Town

We had a great 3 night stay at the Mar Blau. Had a wonderful welcome from Tony who was knowledgeable about the local area. He tried to accommodate us with a room swap to a sea view but it wasn't possible and we were given room 806, the attic room which had a town view. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with plenty of storage for our short stay and had a huge balcony with two sun loungers. Kettles and cups are not in the rooms but are offered on check-in.

Great stay. Perfect view and superb area to be in. Close to everything and the buses stop outside. Beach just over the road too. Only negative was the ongoing stench of sewage or damp in our room. Couldnt decide what it was. Had to buy incense sticks to lessen the impact!
