We were put in a room on the third floor & after checking in we were told the elevator was out of order. Lots of stairs up & down. Told the desk clerk that my wife had joint problems & she shrugged her shoulders!

We are 2 Senior ladies & we were placed on the 3rd. floor, which was fine. But the elevator was out of service 3 days, periodically! Our knees didn’t like that. It was out on our check-out day, but we were able to use it instead of us carrying down our luggage.

The manager has yet to acknowledge the fact I was stabbed at his facility by a misplaced safety pin in the bed. The new receptionist was great. Corporate has been a pain to deal with as well.

The lift didn’t work so we had to climb to the third floor with all of our cases. There was no offer of help. Then in the morning we watched the breakfast lady clean the gravy off the trash door and then wipe all the surfaces down with the same cloth. Absolutely disgusting.

The room was clean and comfortable. The elevator wasn't working, but it was Memorial Day weekend and so it may have been difficult to get a person to service it. The pool ladder was also out of commission. We've stayed here before and will stay again, but I feel that a three-star rating is fair.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the breakfast included. Breakfast was OK but nothing great. Choices were: waffles with either syrup or fruit topping, hot oatmeal, 3 types of cereal (raisin bran, cheerios, or fruit loops), biscuits and gravy on a couple of days, toast, muffins, scrambled eggs (they were either frozen or powdered), alternate link sausage and sausage patties, apple and orange juice, coffee, hard boiled eggs, yogurt. The first couple of days there was a strange odor as you entered the front door, in the hall, and into our room, but I didn't notice it so much on the 3rd day. Swimming pool was nice and our grandkids came over for a swim. The elevator was out of commission all the while we were there. We were on the first floor so it didn't affect us but I felt sorry for those on the upper floors. Kitchen staff and front desk staff were beyond delightful!! Property manager was there a couple of times to greet us. Beds were comfortable. I didn't notice noise at night, but I sleep with ear plugs. Easy access to freeways east and west (I-94). We would stay here again on another visit to Stevensville.
