A little hidden gem! Was there for a one night stop over while travelling. Everything was very clean, staff was friendly. The only trouble I had was finding a parking spot as I arrived after midnight—the only spots left were the back row by the woods—a little creepy, but I survived!

Great staff, not so great equipment

Hotel staff was friendly, knowlegeable and overall amazing. Hotel property... Hot tub was maybe a few degrees warmer than the swimming pool. Fire alarm was triggered at 330 in the morning. Not a good way to wake up for a kid with autism and sensory issues. according to the New Buffalo Fire Department, everything was good and nothing wrong with the system, went back to our room around 5am. if it was a prank or some idiot smoking in their room, I hope those were caught and prosecuted.

Close to town.

Gal at the front desk was super nice. Carpet throughout needs cleaned or replaced with tile. Bathroom was clean. Dispensers in shower were empty. Saw someone in hot tub filled with foam. Back exit needs cleaned up. Same pair of wet men’s underwear sat by the door the 2 days we were there. First night the fire alarm went off at 4AM. Went off again after we were let back inside. Breakfast was edible.

The fire alarm went off at 3:40 am due to a faulty panel. Staff didn’t communicate as everyone stood outside. 30 minutes later fire dept. arrived. After finally getting back in our room around 4:30 am the strobe continued to go off and then again the fire siren went off.

Waiting to return to my room.

Fire alarm went off at 3:30 in the morning. All the guests went outside as if there was an actual fire. We sat outside over 30 minutes before the fire department even got to the hotel. It’s been close to a hour standing outside the hotel on a chilly Michigan early morning with no information as to why we are out here. This stay is officially a disaster.

This was the worse stay I ever had hit tub had green algae ring we stsyecon 3rd floor no elevator, no discount. Next day would not move us down to 2nd or 1st floor. Bathroom toilets stained and dirty . Lotta things broken in the room Building smelled damp . Just will never stay at quality in anywhere , too scared! Very sad😝

We did not see any disgusting bugs so that was a big deal! We appreciate the warm food available in the morning...in fact, the waffles, hot sausage, eggs, etc. is better that any continental breakfast I ever encountered. BUT, the stained carpet, yuck, the broken elevator, the greenish pool & the cold, broken hot tub was TOO MUCH!! MY BILL SHOULD BE 1/2 WHAT I PAID. Thank the lord the air conditioning in the room worked and we loved the pillows, the bed was comfortable and the curtains are total black out!
