This is a minimalist hotel with very spartan amenities. If you’re expecting an experience similar to the US, you will not find it here. The rooms are small. There is one small chair in our room. There was no traditional closet. There was no folding valet upon which to set your luggage. The bed was soft like a marshmallow and gave me backaches every morning. The “folding” shower was so small that I couldn’t wash any body part below my thighs (I am 6’3” tall) because my head would hit one of folding shower panels and it would pop open. The staff was great and the breakfast buffet was awesome. The location is also great for many attractions in Bergen.

Very convenient location, close to many attractions. Breakfast was great. The only inconvenience was that there was no coffee, tea and fridge in the room. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay there.

Perfect location. Lovely place to stay

Small compact room. Clean and comfortable beds. Very convenient area. The breakfast was incredible. Delicious, fresh, huge variety and plentiful. We stayed 5 nights. Would highly recommend. Wished there was a fan.

We found the Scandic Torget Bergen to be right in the midst of what's happening. The outdoor market right across the street with many dining options, as well as many shops within walking distance of the hotel. Great place to stay.

Location, location, location!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. This the first time staying here since it’s been renovated. The room seemed a bit cramped, but the service and location more than made up for that. They’ve always offered a great breakfast and still do. Next time I’m in Bergen this is where I’ll stay.

We were unable to lock our room door from the inside. There was no phone in the room to contact the front desk. The staff was helpful but we felt the front desk was understaffed. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful with arranging transportation to the airport.

Great Hotel at the Port of Bergen

Right in the center of it all, next to the fish market, easy walk to everything in Bergen. Breakfast is fine - combo of USA and European foods. Ships coming and going, tour boats everywhere, nice spot.

The property was fine. Only 2 hangers in room but quite a bit of hanging hook type arrangements. Would have like tea/coffee making facility in room, but did know before arrival not available. Breakfast was excellent, staff wre superb!
