Good stop off location. Budget hotel . Room very spacious and reception had little extras in case you forgot plus a microwave. Dog friendly. Super friendly reception team

Breakfast paid within the booking fee but was only presented vouchers for Saturday morning only which the cost paid on booking were £20! It wasn’t stated within the booking the fees paid were only for 1 sitting But the breakfast were less than £9 at the restaurant and Toast were additional cost. Bathroom bin weren’t emptied from previous occupants Breakfast condiments ( milk and coffee ) weren’t replenished

I paid for 1 night and booked my complimentary night (another saga!). At booking, the receptionist was not helpful in terms of advice regarding facilities. I had chosen this hotel due to it having EV charging. However the chargers have been moved to the services, not ideal as a lone traveller. I asked where they were and was told ‘over there’… where?? I dropped by bags in the room and headed downstairs to find out where breakfast (pre-booked) was.I was told ‘walk along the path and over the bridge’. What path, what bridge, what was the place called? I asked for details and was told I couldn’t have (what turned out to be a voucher) because you had to pay for this. She was surprised to know I’d paid. Is it not basic customer service to know what your customers have arranged? I returned to my room after charging my car and changed for bed circa 9:30pm. I wished I hadn’t as I saw, when cleaning my teeth, the former (??) occupants stubble all behind the taps. I was exhausted so didn’t have the energy to dress and request another room. The following day, I went for breakfast. This turned out to be the other side of the M5 - 0.4 mile walk away. Not exactly convenient and no reference on website. I was told I owed £5 for parking even though this was a ‘perk’ on the website. Sunday 04:54 staff were talking outside and moving wheelie bins. Really - on a Sunday. Waking residents. DO NOT BOOK. Go anywhere else. I’d give more but there are insufficient characters.

Checking in was great and the person in the desk was friendly and helpful. Please be ready to pay an extra £5 per car for parking. Breakfast is a 5 minute walk across the motorway bridge and wasn’t worth the money in all honesty. Good for the rest we needed.

The staff didn’t even seem like they wanted to be there. As soon as walked in told there was a £5 charge but didn’t say what the charge was for was rushing to get checked in as four year old been in the car for over three hours and needed the toilet. No explanation as to where to go for breakfast eventually found out had to leave the premises and walk to to other side for breakfast. It’s ok as a pit stop which is basically what we used it for but don’t think would stay there again

Very poor hotel

Poor breakfast selection. Dirty pull out bed hairs on it. No remote for tv. Not enough towels for family. Main light in bathroom didn’t work. I will never stay at a days inn again. Looked very appealing on the website but. Was very let down.

It was a place to sleep at the end of the day and was just fine for that. They mention there is a made to order breakfast but you have to walk about a quarter of a mile to get any food.

Location fit for purpose

Only stayed 2 nights for the air show so the location was the key factor as majority of other hotels nearer to the event were fully booked. We have stayed in this hotel for the air show on numerous occasions, but unfortunately on this occasion we found the hotel to be a little bit tired in its décor and overall appearance. we can't comment on anything else as we didn't have anything else other than a good couple of nights sleep.
