Scammed for an extra night
Only 2 stars because the room was clean and adequate to stay in, and the breakfast was delightful and free. The staff seemed friendly, but if you’re visiting and do not speak German, there may be a language barrier because I was charged an extra night. I kept explaining to the people and they kept saying I need to contact Hotels.com, which I did multiple times on my stay and still no reconciliation. I paid what I needed to pay, but it is unfair to someone who paid to stay at your hotel to be on the phone multiple days just to try and get things fixed and they can’t even help you! They said they “fixed it” but when I was given a receipt, I was charged the basically the same amount and one of the nights was 399€…. It made no sense. The front desk clerk was using a calculator as if he was trying to make the price the same but make it 1 less day… Each night said the check out date instead of the date of each night I stayed, as if he just edit it on that day. Very fishy and untrustworthy. I feel scammed. Maybe try somewhere else if you’re planning a stay in Berlin.

Really nice breakfast with lots to choose from. Checking in was a bit of an issue and not a great first impression but other than that I would stay again. @hotel please provide better pillows! The ones in my room were thin and useless.

Good located hotel
Comfortable hotel with good location in Mitte, very close to tram/bus/U stations with many restaurants/bars options in short walking distance. Breakfast is very good and the service as well. We stayed in larger rooms (business) that were quiet (turning to the back of the building). Rooms, shower and toilette are clean, but very new. Large supermarket is next door which is very convenient, especially while travelling with kids

Very convenient for Friedrichstrasse area, with frequent public transport virtually outside the hotel. Very good breakfast, with plenty of choice and rooms very clean.

Service - the front desk was not clear what the room covers. Since we had a mini bar and complimentary bottle waters, the front desk did not let us know that the bottle waters were free, as a result we had to pay extra out of pocket.
