Not working, tried calling front desk on first night no answer. Second night informed them at the desk they gave me instructions on how to turn it on. Told them that’s what I did said they would send up maintenance. After two hours I called to tell them no one came up, went down again later to tell them in person, front desk said I could open windows showed me how to open them all the way. Problem is when they are open shades can’t cover them had to close them because all the light . Next night I went back down to front desk said they would send maintenance I told the guy that’s what they told me the day before. He said watch me I’m calling , I told him I was going out to dinner and hopefully it could be resolved when I got back. 4 hours later still no air I called the front finally they admitted it was out in the whole building. Said I could get free minibar said she would open it , she couldn’t remotely so she said she’d send someone up , guy came up and couldn’t open it said he’d call someone and nobody ever came.

Poor management

The location of Hilton is excellent and the breakfast selections and tasty. We arrived late and checked in a room at 11 pm in the midst of a heat wave in Franfurt. Unfortunately, we were given a room with no working air condition. We alerted the front desk early am, but they had no one to repair it. They then placed a portable ac later on that day which needed a partially open window and for the next 2 nights we had to deal with outside noise and condensation around the unit. We had little communication with management the whole time.

What do you expect ? It is The Hilton. It is not just Hilton. It is The Hilton Berlin ; It is The Best you will receive. The hotel room is very clean. There are so many full length mirrors everywhere ; Two ceiling to floor mirrors by the room window. The bathroom is so shiny and clean. Marble sink counter and marble floor. Housekeeping makes the beds daily. The Hilton Berlin is just right across The GENDARMENMARKT ; Berlin's Top Tourist Attraction where the Konzerthaus Berlin situates with the twin domed churches. You save your taxi fare if you stay at The Hilton Berlin. You are right at the famous public square "GENDARMENMARKT". The Hilton Berlin staff personnels are very polite and very kind from the minute you check in at The Front Desk Counter all the way to The Breakfast Buffet Restaurant Staffs. They are very tolerated and very pleasant servers. The Hilton Berlin Breakfast is amazing and there are so many choices with an ample huge variety. Now, this is what I call "GERMANY". I have been to GERMANY 3 Times including This wonderful Hilton Berlin.

Excellent hotel stay

Easy check in and great location. My family felt very comfortable with our stay at Hilton Berlin. Close to big bus tour stop and easy walking distance to Checkpoint Charlie.

The A/C doesn’t work well, night after night….. Bathroom needs STAT remodeling… food at the hotel meaning dinner was limited, and bad food…. Even this is a Hilton Hotel, TV was full in German language….. Nearside restaurants the menu was poor and the attention was also bad…. The only positive thing, was the STAFF, very nice all the time….

This hotel was centrally located to brandensburg gate and was close to the undeground station. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was good wide variety of choice.

The rooms were great- we had enough room to move around and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a highlight and the location was excellent and a quiet area! The downside- the air con quality was not so great and when we asked for a fan, we did not get one. Aside from that- I recommend this hotel!
