Nice place to stay when in Berlin
It was amazing because I was initially allocated a small room but it was changed when I requested for a change. My request for late checkout was granted being an IHG member. The only but they don't have a chef to cook hot stuff such as Sausages nor scrambled egg.

Overall I would say my stay was pretty good. Positives are that the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, it was also down the block from the metro line right into the main city otherwise it was a 25 ish minute walk to the main sites which wasn’t bad at all. There was also a grocery store across the street, which was nice to get water and snacks as the shop in the hotel was naturally overpriced. The included breakfast had a variety of options which we utilized each day to save a little money. Negatives are a little more minor, but also necessary to state. The lights in the room were almost non-existent… it was very dim and difficult to see in early morning and at night. They could use an overhead light or brighter lamp. There was also no plug in the bathroom, which doesn’t really make sense and made it a little difficult to get ready in the morning. The room was small as expected in Europe but this is not my first time in Europe and on this trip alone it was the end of my trip and the 6th hotel we were in… in order to move around the room we had to move out of each others way. It was difficult to maneuver around and in order to get my suitcase to the other side of the room, I had to lift it over the bed. Finally, we didn’t want the cleaning service but we did ask the front desk twice to empty our garbage only and it never happened so it was spilling over. Overall not a bad stay, but could use some small improvements!

Location wasn’t the best as not much of anything directly around the hotel and area didn’t feel the safest. Nice Italian and Indian restaurants across the road but that was about it. Breakfast choices were very limited and they would often run out of food and was not replenished for 30 minutes or more, very unfortunate when you go to breakfast and there is nothing and you have to sit and wait. Rooms were very compact, not much space for two suitcases. Had worst sleep ever with uncomfortable pillows and the constant noise from what we believe to be fireworks. Pressure in shower was poor. Just be aware on fridge or safe in the rooms.

Great location. When we first arrived we thought we would be too far out but you’re just a 5 minute walk from the main area. Hotel was what you’d expect from a Holiday Inn - functional, clean, lovely staff and decent breakfast. Nice coffee shops and restaurants close to hotel. It was pretty easy for train transfers from airport.

Fantastic stay! Easy to get to from the airport using the train. Continental breakfast with plenty of choice, does get busy at peak times as expected. Walking distance to sights of Berlin. Rooms are clean and functional if not a little compact/cosy. 2 Ad and a teenager was a squeeze. Would return but booking 2 rooms instead of the 1.
