A nice, cozy hotel with a great location to explore Berlin for a 2-night stay. Our room was in a side building on the 1st floor, but navigating to it was confusing. We had to go up to the 2nd floor first, then down one floor to reach our room, and to exit, we had to go up to the 3rd floor before heading down to the ground level. Unfortunately, the street noise was unbearable, making it difficult for me to fall asleep.

Very nice hotel located in a convenient central location just a few steps from transport links etc. Room was small but comfortable and was nice and quiet. Breakfast seemed an expensive add on option so didn’t go for it on this occasion - plenty of cafes and coffee shops etc around the hotel to get breakfast.

Greeted by Oskar, great guy and an asset to the business. Helpful and welcoming. In stark contrast, one receptionist was quite rude to me when I accidentally fell asleep by the fire in lounge area whilst watching a movie on my iPad. I had one foot elevated (without shoes) due to severe pain in my leg after walking. I had just checked out and was waiting for my travelling companion to collect our bag from the storage area. It left a bad taste after what was otherwise a great trip both in terms of this great hotel, its great location and an overall fab trip! Tip to young lady, next time ask nicely and lose the aggressive accusatory tone, no room for that in customer service.

The property was very clean & well serviced. Staff were very attentive. Having booked the Dom Suite, I was a little disappointed that there were no kettle or beverage facilities, or mini bar in the room as complimentary.. also the shower room was good, an addition of a bath would have been most favourable, considering the cost. However, I would still recommend

My go to hotel while in Berlin. It’s a very handsome hotel with a great bar. The mattresses and bedding make for a decadent bed. The real reason I choose it over and over again is the location - right by the river Spree, museum island, great restaurants, great shopping, not to mention a market every Saturday right around the corner. It’s also right next to the Ubahn which also makes it very convenient for getting anywhere else in town. My only 2 suggestions for this hotel would be to have coffee makers in the room and to have more than 1 English Channel on the TV. They have smart tvs but with no access to Netflix’s or Prime :-( That being said I still choose this place time after time.

Berlin marathon stay
The location was great. Very central to everything we wanted - Hackescher Markt, public transit and cute shopping on Rosenthaler Strasse. There was a very long hallway to get to the side wing and elevator on the side wing was out of service which was annoying. Stairs were a bit painful post marathon. Room was comfortable, but shower only had half glass and water ended up all over the bathroom. It smelled a bit musty and you could tell there was some water damage. Overall average but location made it worth staying. Lobby bar with fireplace was nice.

Located at very convenient place from station and supermarket etc., and my overall feeling for this property was very good. However, I couldn't find any services for gim and sauna, which were accessible to visitors and introduced in their HP.

I have a great fondness for this hotel as it just feels good walking in there. There is a ton of personality and great art in the public spaces and the staff is exceedingly agreeable. The only issue I have is that the rooms are in need of repainting. The state of the walls is inconsistent with the rest of the hotel. The best thing about the room is the bed, which is very comfortable.

Centrally located in Mitte and a reasonable walk to just about anywhere you want to go. A great library lounge with jazz and a fireplace engendering the perfect spot to read Nietzsche. Ive probably stayed here 300 times.

Great staff, helping and friendly. My room was small but neat. The bed and shower were great other than the shower only having a small glass partition that made it impossible to have a really vigorous shower without flooding the bathroon. The location is great, very close to a train station but not too close. There are many restaurants and shops in easy walking distance as well as a nice park. Thanks for a great four night stay.

I loved this little boutique hotel. It was quaint, clean, modern and I loved the location. I walked everywhere! Hackescher markt is literally around the corner, Alexanderplatz is 1 train stop away or easy to walk to (1.2km), the Berlin Dom is a block away…..I highly recommend this hotel. Great value and the perfect central location.
