Amazing staff, rooms and even better breakfast!
A great location super rooms and fantastic staff at reception, they were always so helpful and the hotel should be commended for their reception team - first rate! The room was really quiet and spacious. The breakfast is also the best I have seen in Berlin, it's immense... you might think it's expensive, however, you will not need lunch! If you enjoy breakfast, you're in for a treat... outstanding.

Spacious and clean room, excellent bathroom and attentive housekeeping staff. My only qualms with the place was that the bar was a little less chic than the overall vibe the hotel presented; alongside that, the view from my room was pretty unfortunate so I clipped my curtains closed for pretty much my entire stay. Aside from that, was pleased with the hotel and the value of my room.

Good area for a city break
A modern functional hotel with lots of amenities close by (less than a 10 minute walk). The road outside is large with lots of office blocks but under them are restaurants and bars. We also used the Steinecke bakery at the top of the road for breakfast and coffee. Would stay there again.

too far from public transportation; taxi service excellent and always available. too far from convenient restaurants for me except for Caruso's which was not that good. friendly staff. however they informed me there were no extra charges for in-room phone calls and my bill reflected charges for SEVEN! do i get a refund? all three staff members assured me there was no extra change for the calls before i made them.

Superb base for our break in Berlin. Rooms excellent; clean, decor smart, comfortable bed and very quiet. Chose to have breakfasts here too; excellent choice and sustained us the whole day until evening. Would highly recommend and would use Scandic again in the future.

Great for a Berlin getaway
We‘ve been to the Scandia Hotel before and new what to expect. It sports a Scandinavian, modern, no-frills charme. It‘s all we needed for a couple of days in Berlin. The location right by the Potsdamer Platz is ideal. The subway station is literally on the same building. Right across the street is the Playce, a shopping mall with a big food court and a huge parking garage that serves as overflow parking for the hotel as well. Breakfast is just great, buffet style, of many different islands for warm and cold choices. The hotel did not give me the warm and fuzzies but it did everything I expected it to do.

Rooms should be cleaned more often if you are staying several nights. Tv channels in English were poor as there was only 1 channel & that was Sky news. One of the barmen (Sunday 6th Oct) deliberately ignored two separate women in favour of a group of 4 men who arrived after both female customers

The hotel is located in a good location, about a 5-to-10-minute walk from the Potsdamer Platz U&S Bahn station. The Brandenburg Gate is about a 20-minute walk and from there Berline Mitte is another 10 to 20 minutes. The hotel has the necessities. The breakfast is great! The bed, like most in Germany, is very hard especially for someone with back or neck issues. We had to request additional blankets for my wife which helped, but did not provide a complete solution. The only reason I did not give the property an overall excellent rating is due to the limited parking. A very large parking garage is located nearby; however, it is so large that the walking exit from the garage is a long way from the hotel. With all that said, we would consider staying at this hotel again due to its location, and it being clean and well kept.

The room was a bit warm. The entire staff were all so friendly. The breakfast was excellent with so many choices. An easy walk to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, attractions and transportation.
